Jeremy Clarkson is to appear again on stage with Richard Hammond and James May, with whom he presented the BBC's Top Gear.
A deal has been done to fulfil a series of live shows that were planned before the presenter was dropped from the show for hitting a producer.
The gigs will be stripped of all BBC branding and content and will be called Clarkson, Hammond and May Live.
The first live show will take place in Belfast on 22 May.
I am glad this is happening...
...but it absolutely wasn't to "not disappoint fans" :v: Fixed:
So as not to refund the thousands of people around the world who have already purchased tickets...
If he doesnt want to dissapoint fans, Clarkson better make it amazing since the cancellation of TG was all his fault.

Well, his removal from Top Gear was. The cancellation of the show will no doubt be blamed on whoever they convince to try and host Series 23.
That is really not a catchy name.
That is really not a catchy name.
very descriptive, though
Time to cash in the scandalous popularity gained while it's hot.
I thought top gear live was a separate thing they did for BBC World as part of their (separate) contract to promote TG world wide?
This shits been so confusing.

"Clarkson, Hammond and May" - A Netflix Original, coming soon.
I do want to buy tickets now, though :v:
Clarkson, Hammond and May Drive Cars and Say Funny Things, Also Pull Pranks On Each Other

Through tickets that were sold out before the incident you mean?

Having May's name at the end is confusing for such a title. They may drive cars and say funny things?

Aaaand Hulu snaps it up

Sounds like one of those awful sitcoms that runs for a season before getting shitcanned.
Why didn't they spin it off of Top Gear? I imagine Clarkson could get a good name going with those classy advertisers spectacles he won in S13.

CHM Live is a bit better.
sounds contagious
good show then?
Wonder if this will be the last ever, or if BBC will make another Top Gear with other hosts, or if the three will go to another network or just go straight to Netflix? Have they mentioned anything about it?
Two blokes and a short man, live.
That sounds like a fun title.

Disregarding the fact that the BBC dropped the hammer despite Clarkson and the producer actually wanting to work together again.

I'd say two and a half men but I hear that name is taken.

BBC top gear: death by crucifixion
[editline]31st March 2015[/editline]
I look forward to this show with the original 3, though.

The BBC plan to renew Top Gear for 2016. May & Hammond's contracts expire imminently - ball's in their courts.

Probably all different people though. I'm skeptical that it will be as good as before.
It'll probably be one of the most popular live shows...
...In the world.
[sp]Look, I'm very sorry, okay? I just wanted to make that joke ONCE.[/sp]
David Cameron's daughter's hunger strike must have worked.
It would sound better if they were to rebrand it to MPH Live, like the show was originally called before the Top Gear name was slapped on it.
Should have just called it Final Gear live to emphasise what's happened...

...and now I have!
