As much as I like jon trons stuff, this whole star wars is a little TOO far over the top. I'd rather take a few more episodes with less over the top stage production, than this.
It's also a shame they're like, five minutes. I was hoping for a bit more than that.
I don't get quite the formula of having this pretty expensive looking set, costumes and props and make pretty mediocre 4-6 minute videos out of it.

This feels like it was meant to be one big thing but halfway through production they decided to split them into tiny parts and drop them randomly on the internet at an irregular pace.
Huh, made by the same people who made Mario's Missing!
Is this why anyone watches JonTron? For sets and long sketches? I just want to hear some funny commentary on weird and wonderful games ie:

No idea why they thought that was sensible. Having it be in concise bite-size pieces might've been one reason, but if so why not release them with more regularity? Unless they take a long-ass time to make.
That said Jon did tweet that he hear us about the sparseness and shortness of the videos, in addition to how, and I quote, "That will change soon. <3."

it's different and he's doing it for reasons, but people still watch it because like 15% of it is sketches (now even lower compared to the last few episodes) and the rest is good ol jontron.
I'm actually wondering what the deal with that set is... It's... odd, really, even for Jontron.
Not saying it isn't awesome, it just seems underutilized for how much it would have cost to assemble.

it's a deal he made with his partner (i cant remember if it's polaris or someone else) and the set is out in california rather than something he built himself (i think.) it's not the jontron show we know, it's just a spinoff they're working on for some reason or another. it's still pretty good though,
Pretty sure it's some kinda Disney-sponsored thing that has to do with the new Star Wars movie
Actually isn't Polaris owned by Disney? That would explain it
As much as i've absolutely hated the past two of this series, this one i actually liked.
^ I completely agree, this one actually made me laugh out loud. THe other 2 were pretty meh but this one feels more jontron-ish.

That makes incredible amounts of sense. Wonder why they didn't just ship him out to the actual Star Wars VII Falcon set, though? The shooting's done, it's probably in storage.

It's probs already dismantled or in another location getting ready for VIII, and if it actually is Disney sponsered, then they probably just had everything subcontracted.

"You look like fat Josh Peck."
Oh my god.
I know some people aren't 100% into this but that Chewbacca sketch had me in stitches.

And the [sp]starring Darth Vadar and Leia as the Queens too[/sp].
Jon is clearly happy to be doing this and it shows in the quality.

Well, at least he's being experimental and trying something new.
If he didn't then I guarantee you'd probably be crying about how all of his videos are the same.
i don't mind the cheesiness or how different the format is, i just think the humor is really obnoxious. doesn't feel like his other vids
Still feels weak as fuck, step your game up Jon.
Jon come on bro I know you can do better.
i'm pretty sure all of the filming for starcade is finished. so i assume that he's not doing the editing? pretty sure he's still just working on his own stuff, though it's been ages since an actual jontron episode has come out.
The problem is entirely in the segmented drawn out format. Whenever it starts to build momentum it ends because it's so cut up.
looking forward to not getting a new actual jontron until october

Right after the cutscene of the game things finally started to make a bit sense about what the story was and he did not even had the chance to explain what the fuck you gotta do in the game.
But then lol nope end of episode.
