A riff by Donald Trump at a rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., on Monday night about Hillary Clinton's culpability in the deaths of the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans in Benghazi, Libya, is raising questions about where exactly Trump got his information and how.
During his speech, Trump held up a piece of paper. "This just came out a little while ago. I have to tell you this," Trump said as he read from the page, which he identified as an email from Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal.
...
For Newsweek reporter Kurt Eichenwald, the words Trump read sounded familiar. It turns out they were taken from an article he wrote, which Blumenthal had included in an email. So they were not Blumenthal's words, but Eichenwald's.
The misconstrued "email" that Trump was reading had appeared in an article on a Russia-funded website called Sputnik, which has since taken it down.
You can see the original in a screen grab from The Washington Post.
It's unclear how Trump obtained the same misinformation that appeared in Sputnik. Eichenwald asks: "Who in the Trump campaign was feeding him falsehoods straight from the Kremlin?"
Дoh!
I do wonder how his thought process is when he gets things together to speak before a rally, it must sound fucking ridiculous.

Uh, it's actually pretty damn clear how he got it: people have been tweeting screen caps of the relevant part of the email for two days now. This just shows that Trump sloppily picks up information from the internet, which we already knew. Or maybe Putin was whispering in his earpiece.
Trump is a shill for the Russians
Trump is a Russian spy secretly planted by Putin.
Doh, I read into it some more and it looks like it may indeed have come from some random ass twitter rather than Sputnik. Trump read the extract out just one hour after the Sputnik article went up, but several hours after it started going around in a tweet - so maybe Sputnik and Trump both got the news from the same place

One thing that remains true is that the story itself was false anyway :v:
The Russians would love a President Trump. He's such a buffoon they'd be able to slide anything past him. If he doesn't agree with it to begin with, they can fool him into letting them do it anyway.
They might even stop him from blowing up Iranian Naval units like he wanted to.
What a Блять!
Literally the only russian I know, thanks CSGO.
I like how, as of like 6 months now, in order to deal with the grievances of bernie and trump voters the centrist democrats deflect to an external threat. Remember when dems were anti war? Then came the Hillary ideological thaw
How did we even end up like this?

Jeb Bush had low energy.
Jeb Bush had low energy.
The man just wanted to ensure americans could enjoy their guacamole but the voters took that from him.

the twist: he's just an idiot and putin knows it
Jeb Bush had low energy.
I still feel bad for poor Jeb. Wanna give the poor man a hug.

I feel like Jeb would be a good candidate for a purely representative function, like the President of Poland, as opposed to the actual Head of State, The Prime Minister.

I like how Trump can fuck up and you still get around to bashing Hillary.

What's the purpose of dumping on a clownshow candidate over and over again on a forum with extreme Hillary support?
What's the purpose of dumping on a clownshow candidate over and over again on a forum with extreme Hillary support?
"Extreme".
The vast majority of people here who support Clinton do so out of the fact that many of her policies came from Sanders himself, and many of us were former Sanders supporters. It only appears extreme coupled with the fact that all of us practically despise Trump and want him no-where near the White House. And the ones who do? They've all ran away, unable to defend him.
Cowards.

to be fair, a lot of them were just straight up banned

It's interesting how the tendency of those that defended him held batshit xenophobic ideals and misconstrued alternate realities.
Banned because they acted like dicks. RIPBILLYMAYS has lasted a long time because he doesn't flame everyone.
Look forward to more Trump supporter bans because of all the toxxes out there.

Im looking forward to the Clinton supporter bans. Wikileaks keeps dumping emails showing how Clinton handled the Bernie supporters with appeasement and they all jumped on board because they don't like Trump.
Whatever happens in November I just hope it ends the hosility that has plagued SH for the last year.

Lots of people act like dicks on SH and don't get permabanned. It's definitely the case that posters with views that veer too far to the right or the left are put under much more scrutiny and are more likely to be banned.

You can tell who has a grudge with one another. The bans only come with direct flaming like "you're fucking retarded" instead of being a dick to one another.
This whole Trump x Russia thing the media and Clinton keep pushing leads me to believe Clinton will start a war with Russia if she makes it into the Oval Office.
One things for sure, there's a lot of people clamouring about how America is somehow too liberal and that Donald Trump will change decades of social evolution. I fail to see how that will happen.

No I'm sorry man, it's only going to get worse after November. I call it; no matter what happens it's going to become so much worse around here and around the States. I'll gladly put shit beyond me but I think we're all in for a pretty awful time after November.

Both Trump and Pence are in favor of limiting people's rights. Trump wants to limit the rights of Muslims and Blacks, and both want to limit the rights of Gays.

Trump supporters are holding out for massive leaks that will destroy the entire Democratic Party. Because they hate Hillary so much they'd rather live in a single-party state run by a man who promises an authoritarian leadership.

I'm actually talking about the comments on places saying that America has become too PC and liberal and that Donald Trump will give America a backbone again.

What possible incentive does Clinton have to start a war with Russia ?
