american idol
I've never liked Family Guy, or American Dad, or The Cleveland Show.
Cloverfield.
It seems like everyone on the planet except me likes Heroes. Just didn't really capture my interest.
I wasn't a huge fan of "Lost". Sue me.

Well everyone who liked Heroes only liked the first season.
I should know, I like Heroes but I only liked the first season.
Also, obligatory "Avatar" post
Glee.
Twilight.
Both justifiably.
Avatar. imo The only thing it had going for it was the effects, and all of that.

Try watching it on DVD or something at home, without the 3D stuff, the movie becomes very un-interesting.
inception, as i made clear in the inception thread, much to everyones chagrin.
Inception was a great movie. What made you think it wasn't? Oh yeah thats right "bad script" "bad structure" "bad performances"
Get over it.

i only said it had a bad script, silly! dont put words in my mouth and i will NOT get over it. people are allowed dissenting opinions. the reviewer in the new yorker didnt like it. not everyone has to like something because its popular.
The thing is, most reviewers are stupid, closed minded twits.
Be open to movies, how many times have you watched inception?

I'm not saying jump on the bandwagon, its just that you'll be inferior if you don't :smug:
I didn't like the Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I was bored watching it and I didn't care too much for the main characters.
Though it did have it's moments, I didn't find Blazing Saddles too funny.
two times did i see it. first time i was impressed, second time the seams started to show
i mean, it wasnt that it was BAD. its just that...its not the masterpiece everyone makes it out to be.
i dont want to start this argument again
I watched three times. The second time I didn't enjoy as much, but the third time was great, even more so than the first.
Dragon Ball Z, YuGi-Oh, Digimon.
All I really watched was Pokemon.
I couldn't get myself to like Aliens. I love sci-fi but I just couldn't enjoy it. I felt like it tried to be a horror movie but it just wasn't scary and it was too predictable.
we have these threads often and everytime I say Donnie Darko and the Dark Knight

Dear god, Avatar.
Story was really unimaginative, and unimmersive.
Small price to pay for Uber-cool special effects?
Yeah, Sorry. No.
