I don't know where you got that from but that is 100% his voice. Been following his channel for ages and he's been through some rougher patches and never "dropped the voice"

He doesn't come off as the type who'd try to come off as masculine.
He just has a high vocal range from what I can hear, but his speech naturally falls into the lower frequencies.

No, thats legitimately what he sounds like.
I don't doubt that he plays up the monotone droning voice a little bit in these videos, but not much. You can hear him in that masturbation video where he talks with another guy and he sounds a bit more natural.
iirc he changed his voice on purpose as a teenager and it stuck
