My Portfolio (redone) - General

Hey guys, just wanted some feedback for the portfolio I'm making for myself. Any feedback is welcome. Thanks! : [url]http://blpnetwork.com/cstevens/index/index.html[/url] NOTE: I am not finished! There are some blank tabs, some stuff may not look finished. Working on it as I type.

Looks good for resume purposes, although I'm not as experienced as others. Just add more of your work to it. The site itself is cool, and I like your browsing features, it would just look better with more of your stuff.

Thanks man, glad you like it. Yeah, I'll probably end up adding more to it, but for times sake right now (it's a project for my web design class that's due in 4 hours lol), I'm just gonna get everything patched up, good enough for an A. I plan to add a video player though, for my music videos and such.

The navigation system is quite nice, but your header is just right out aweful.

Hahaha, what the shit man. You can easily compose all that you have on your site on one page. And the slider navigator isn't even your work.

The navigation stuff is pretty neat, although the rest is quite hideous. I would do a quick mockup but I got an exam to worry about at the moment. Anyways, keep it simple- stick to two (maybe three) fonts, right now you got a dozen. Streamline the whole thing.

About the slider, I would try to create one, but since I have a deadline that's tonight, I'm just sticking with this one.

You know, i got a friend who in one day learnt HTML and CSS, and by some help from me on the graphics part, made a neat portfolio, with his own navigation system and quite a lot of other nice features, the grade he got on it was the highest in his class.

Though I've been seeing that theme with other portfolios. Which is why I decided to do what I did with mine.

What you did isn't a theme, its faggotry, its ugly improvised three second shit that makes you look like a total moron, and nor did you actually MAKE it, you just made the images and slapped on the text.

I'd crit your page but why even bother. You've got two "projects" up and both of them aren't designed at all.

You aren't really a web designer if it's thrown together with other's work. That's my main problem with the banner you call yourself a designer ... Well everything is wrong with the banner actually especially the font. I'm not saying I am some amazing web designer, I've only done a few sites myself for essential stuff as it isn't really my thing, but at least take some pride in your work (not doing it by scratch to me is not taking pride in your work.)
