It is really tragic to see him go. He was a metal pioneer and had an incredible voice. I am going listening to Black Sabbath's "Mob Rules" in respect to him. He is the greatest.

Still can't get over this shit. Music has always been a passion to me. One of the biggest things in my life. I believe I appreciate it far more than most. And I had the highest respect for Dio. His music influenced some of my favourite bands, as well as many more. And I love his own music. Without him, metal would not be the same. It just doesn't seem right that his legacy had to end now. And Heaven & Hell had only released one album. He had tours set. I was hoping to see them at Bloodstock. I would adore it to see Dio live. Looks like that's not going to happen. But it's not about me. He inspired millions upon millions of people. Changed people's lives.
