• Southpark episode 201 special final speech uncensored.

For anyone that doesnt know, episodes 200 and 201 are the only episodes on southparkstudios AND the southpark dvd that are censored beyond all hell, including the matt and trey commentary. Both 200 and 201 are unwatchable on southparkstudios AND there isnt a single 100% uncensored public release anywhere on the internet, it even took quite a long time for the final uncensored speech to release. This is the final speech of episode 201 that was never aired or even in the god damn dvd uncensored. Comedy Central at first refused Matt and Trey to depict Muhammad over terrorist threats, hence literally shitting on Muhammad in both 200 and 201 without actually showing them. The real kicker is they wouldnt even let this final speech happen on TV. I find it the most compelling and real morality speeches in all of southpark, and its fucked up comedy central wouldnt even allow this. im confused why was this not allowed to be aired? seems to be pretty standard south park-style humor.
im confused why was this not allowed to be aired? seems to be pretty standard south park-style humor.
Google some shit about it, theres quite a bit,, theres a lot to why this happened and its bullshit, both 200 and 201 were the most heavily scrutinized episodes by some shitty partys, involving death threats from terrorists and comedy central bending there asses over. More so than any episode, so let that sink in, both episodes are pretty harmless.
the censored speech at least made for a fantastic punchline to the whole episode. cc forcing them to bend actually made for a better joke
im confused why was this not allowed to be aired? seems to be pretty standard south park-style humor.
Because it directly reflects on Viacom getting up the wrong people's asses because they were afraid of retaliation.
Trey and Matt threatened to show Muhammad in episode 201 at the end of episode 200 (yes that was the episode title), and legit violent protests in the Middle East broke out as a result. The episode was meant to rip on everyone they could, and every famous person they've ever ripped on in the series. They just decided to crank controversy to 11 and piss off as many people as possible for the sake of showing how people can get pissed off over the animated equivalent of /b/. As a result, these 2 episodes are debated as the most controversial episodes of any show ever. You know, if anyone was wondering the backstory. They did a damn good job at 1-up'ing the Scientology episode, that's for sure.

The speech is true though
I actually thought the censored speech was meant to be like that until I read it wasn't.
Wasn't the censored bit supposedly the prophet moohammad? the actual big black bar with censored over it
Wasn't the censored bit supposedly the prophet moohammad? the actual big black bar with censored over it
no, it's a giant dick
The thing that bothers me about 200/201 scandal is they showed Mohammed several times before during the Super Best Friends and no one gave a shit.
God, you can feel the frustration, anger and bile gushing out of that speech. [editline]8th November 2014[/editline]
The thing that bothers me about 200/201 scandal is they showed Mohammed several times before during the Super Best Friends and no one gave a shit.
That episode was like 11 years old when 200/201 aired, back before people got ultra-sensitive and ultra-terrified of offending Muslims.
no, it's a giant dick
sounds the same too me
It got censored because viacom actually received bomb threats from terrorist organizations
no, it's a giant dick
are dicks tits vags and swearwords only censored in the usa because I haven't seen it anywhere else
are dicks tits vags and swearwords only censored in the usa because I haven't seen it anywhere else
I can't speak for other countries, but they are definitely censored here. Mind you, cable networks (like Comedy Central) are not obligated by law to censor these. Only free networks like ABC, FOX and CBS have to, since you aren't allowed to broadcast that stuff freely over the air. Cable networks just do it because they know of the fallout that would ensue and the possibility of sponsors pulling out. However, movie channels like HBO and Showtime can get away with showing whatever since they are entirely paid by cable subscriptions, and that's half the reason people subscribe. Uncensored movies and shows without ads.
Man after hearing that speech, the censor literally fucking proved its point that makes it even funnier
... pissed off over the animated equivalent of /b/.
I can't say I've ever though of South Park like that before, but that's right.
Also, for those who forgot/didn't know, there was a failed car bombing near Viacom's offices in Times Square shortly after the episode aired. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/7669402/Times-Square-car-bomb-police-investigate-South-Park-link.html

If you do more reading on that, and use some general logic, it was targeting Times Square itself. Not Viacom's offices, which happened to be NEAR the site. That's like saying 9/11 was perpetrated to target the Windows On The World Restaurant management. It was threatened/effected, but it wasn't TARGETED. What I'm saying is, the 2010 failed carbombing in Times Square had absolutely nothing to do with Viacom.
