And from Reddit, two possible reasons why they seemed extremely pissed
[QUOTE]I dont think this is fake. It doesnt really work as a joke and the hosts don't bother to sell it, in fact they seem to try to cover up.My guess is these are real contest winners who showed up expecting a party and sat in a room until 2 minutes to midnight. So basically, pissed off people who wasted their night.
The whole thing seemed really poorly produced.

[QUOTE]TV crew got force to work while they friends and family are celebrating.

I'm surprised they even showed up, I mean everyone has plans on new years even if it's telling people on the other side of the world that they've just escaped the year of death.

heh yeah everyone
Here in Australia out Free TV channels actually have 2 or 3 side stations dedicated to different audiences alongside their general main one. The Loop (the show here) is from channel 11 which is owned by 10 network (you can see the 11 watermark on the bottom right of the TV), I wouldn't be surprised if there was a better NYE party on 10's main channel.
I never really watch The Loop, I think it shows music videos and talks about celebrities?
aw man that hurt to watch
if your watching free-to-air tv on NYE, your only doing it to watch the fireworks on Sydney Harbour Bridge
But they fucking always delay it by an hour for Queenslanders (bc daylight savings mean we get NYE after NSW/VIC) so the tv stations always fuck it up by saying 1 second to go when its actually 10 seconds
What if all this was to make it go viral

Looks like that's what happened:

summery so you don't have to suffer through Studio 10:
The show was pre-recorded and knowing almost no one would be watching channel 11 on NYE, they made the most unenthusiastic NYE celebration.
Video got blocked by warner. Any mirror?
