Ooh, pretty.
You could probably polish that a bit more. I suggest fine sandpaper to get rid of the scratches, start at a relatively low grit like 120 or 240 and work your way up to maybe 1000ish grit or finer, then eventually you could use some polishing compound and a buffing pad to get a shine on it. Otherwise I hear fine steel wool and some kind of lubricant like water can bring a nice shine, or maybe just some fine wet sanding paper (with water of course).

I has not a new photo of this heart. I used sandpapers (from 2000 to 0) and pasta based on Chromium(III) oxide. (in Russia known as "Pasta GOI" (Паста ГОИ) )
