This is what the spirit of E3 is. Not watching an hour long lecture of gimmicky girls gossiping, sales figures, guys dancing, and stuff we already knew. It's kick-ass surprises and announcements that make you jump in your seat like a child.
I always loved the series. But i'm not too enthusiastic about the whole factions thing.
Or the bikes for that matter.

Agreed. Should be more like the older series, aka. recognizable characters and unique cars. Not faction-based cars/characters.

This game does look kinda shit.
The driving physics look awful and the way the helicopter just flies into a building and the building disappears looks bad aswell, considering it is E3 so they have to get the gameplay good enough to show, i'm guessing that will still be in the full game, so this is definitely something i won't be getting.
It looks fucking awesome. Having played most of them Twisted Metal games and Black being my favorite one, this looks fantastic. It's still in the development stage so a lot can still be done to make this look even better.
Also, for anyone complaining about it being unrealistic, what the hell? Twisted Metal's goal is not a realistic game at all, but I see what you mean Djessey when you say that it's not realistic that the whole building just disappears in a millisecond when a helicopter thrusts into it.

Also the driving physics are fine. They have been like that throughout all the games and it just adds to the fun how crazy it is, rather than being as realistic it can be.

Have you played twisted metal? Thats how the driving physics are. Its not meant to be some realistic driving experience. Its all about arcade action.
And no, even if this is E3 that doesn't mean every bad thing about the game will stay in. This is just a demo of what it will be like. If that were true, released games that were shown at E3 would suck a lot harder.

I've never played twisted metal and this looks like a game I will not enjoy personally, then again, I said that about tf2 before it got released and now I've played it for over 700 hours. @_@

No, scratch that, have you ever even seen a gameplay video of a Twisted Metal game? It's a game about blowing shit up, it's supposed to be unrealistic and over the top.
As I already said, this is a game you buy a PS3 for, can't wait for it to come out.
Twisted metal world tour was my all time favorite game, I really look forward to this.
Twisted metal 2 was my favorite (and the cheat you could get the tank lol) and now, this, what a great addition to the series.

This Game actually made me decided to get a PS3, There has been many others that tempted me (Killzone 2, Metal Gear solid 4, Infamous, and Uncharted) But this one just pushed me over the edge and now I can say I'm glad to be getting a PS3.
I played Rogue Trip on the PS1, which is essentially a re-skin of Twisted metal. So I'm pretty hyped for this.
