I'm using a Rockburn S-15G amp with a Fender Squier and some cheap £5 jack-leads. For some reason, whenever I use my guitar with the amp, I get a constant buzzing sound and none of my notes are picked up. I think it may have something to do with the pickups as I've tested it with multiple jack-leads and a different amp. Can anyone help me out, please? Because I'm doing my best to avoid buying a new guitar.

Probably some soldering that has come loose in the electronics.
Unscrew the pick guard and have a look!
Could be that it's not grounded and a wire is loose somewhere.Try touching something metal on the guitar and if you hear a click, then it's not grounded.
