EDIT: mirror: http://allgamesdelta.s-ul.eu/OwV5l0tm Not April Fool's.
I am a big fan of the ME series, granted its flaws, and I hope that this upcoming game can be better looking than this, ; so I am hoping this is just heavy WIP Footage from an artists demo reel(like it seems to be)
That jetpack thing was cool. Adding vertical movement is going to change up the feel of the game a whole lot.
And it's gone. Rip. [editline]34[/editline] oh nvm mirror
Not even a kind of gameplay leak; literally a placeholder to finished materials budgeting reel (and by budgeting I mean memory/bandwidth, not cost)
Mirror's gone too? Already?
Awh man, I got excited :'(
God bless ME facial animations. Also ya, the mirror is gone too.

You got excited for nothing, none of that save for the mission instance and the jetpack mechanic is going to be in the final game.
https://vid.me/p41b 👌
yo this doesnt work fam wtf
If the jet pack's anything to go by, it seems they're going for more exploration unless it's just a gimmick to pretend the game isn't linear in area progression.
lmao it's literally some dude's showreel.
If the jet pack's anything to go by, it seems they're going for more exploration unless it's just a gimmick to pretend the game isn't linear in area progression.
Well basically the only thing they've said about it so far is the main focus is exploration.
Another mirror https://u.pomf.is/jksrro.mp4 [editline]2nd April 2016[/editline] The one segment with a HUD, has a temperature gauge on the right side
Jetpack in this demo looks like a glorified jump booster. Like, I could have told Ezio to jump in front of that door and ledge-grab and he'd have made the same distance. Doesn't look like it's gonna change the gameplay or level design based on that short snippet. Which I guess would be easier to build around.
Apparently an insider has said that this is early stuff, like, pre-pre-alpha, where they basically just slapped shit into a better version of ME3's engine.
You got excited for nothing, none of that save for the mission instance and the jetpack mechanic is going to be in the final game.
Not really because this shows us what the current team is capable of.
lmao it's literally some dude's showreel.
It's still 100% more gameplay than we've seen so far.
Note that the game is due to release in 8 months and this is practically everything we've seen about the game. So it might be delayed, which I hope considering its chaotic development.
Note that the game is due to release in 8 months and this is practically everything we've seen about the game. So it might be delayed, which I hope considering its chaotic development.
More like 10-12 months.
Note that the game is due to release in 8 months and this is practically everything we've seen about the game.
It's still 100% more gameplay than we've seen so far.
100% more of 0 is still nothing although to be fair that isn't too inaccurate in this case
You got excited for nothing, none of that save for the mission instance and the jetpack mechanic is going to be in the final game.
Everything they showed were effects. Why wouldn't these effects be in the final game?
I sort of expected it to look more different from the original trilogy. This even reuses the weapons, I hope we get new guns in the final version
I sort of expected it to look more different from the original trilogy. This even reuses the weapons, I hope we get new guns in the final version
The armor that one guy's wearing seems like an advanced version of that really tight armor found in ME1
I sort of expected it to look more different from the original trilogy. This even reuses the weapons, I hope we get new guns in the final version
Might have been placeholder assets
It's still 100% more gameplay than we've seen so far.
I just feel sorry for the bastard this will end up leading back to.
Knowing today's AAA industry, most of that will be downgraded one way or the other.
Yeah, I dunno. It mentions "FumeFX" for the fluid dynamics stuff, and FumeFX is a high-resource rendering solution for fluids. It's known for being accurate... and VERY resource intensive. Certainly not realtime. If it WERE a low-res version optimized for gaming, I'd call it goddamn amazing, but somehow I doubt it.
