Did anyone notice the lightswitch next to the video titles today for earth hour?
I did. You click on it and the entire page goes black for earth hour. Imma try it tonight. :)

Unless it somehow controls screen brightness, it makes no power consumption changes.

Actually I think it does, as the whole filter layer has to go into the furtherest state. That doesn't really matter compared to the backlight which takes most of the energy, tho.
I'm pretty sure our shitty tn panels still take the same amount of power to light up white or black.
Does this mean this light switch is only temporary?
