Drug test coming up - General

So here's the scoop: I've been offered this amazing job, and by amazing I mean amazing; 150% pay increase, company phone, I can wear jeans and a T. What more could a regular stoner want? 250 dollars a week after bills to drop on fat sacks? So when I caught wind of this job I dropped in my resume, and figured I'd never get it; shit was too good to be true! So I went on about my business, splitting a g every other day or so with my friends. And then. I'm told to come in for an interview. In two days. Mind you it had been well over two months since I'd put in my resume, and I'd legitimately figured that the position had been filled and there was no point in remaining clean for a (possible) drug test. Well shoot, right then I realized that company policy dictates that all potential employees are required to undergo a drug test before their first day of employment, and I began to worry that that test would occur during the interview. In a fit of paranoia, I began chugging 8 liters of water for the following two days before the interview. The interview went well, and guess what, no drug test! The test wasn't to occur for another 2 and a half weeks, which I was hoping was enough time of being sober to pass a lab urine test. Now, those 20 days I've had to be sober are coming to a close, and I go in for my test on Tuesday. I need, I want, I crave this god damn job, and as of Tuesday I'll have been 100% clean for 20 days, I even left the room when my friends toked up. I weigh 135 pounds and I'm 6'1"; I'm a stick! Everyone I know, including my current coworkers, are telling me that I'm going to pass and that I have nothing to worry about. I never smoked more than a 1/4 of a g to myself, if that. Most of the time my little group of friends all pitch together and buy a 20 or a 10, and we all smoke it together, and there's usually anywhere from 4-8 of us. And that only happens every couple of days. I only get 2 or 3 hits at most throughout all our rotations. What do you all think, is this humble recreational user about to face the largest disappointment of his life, or is he good to go? Cause in all reality, if getting high ruined my chances for such a life changing experience, I'm going to be pretty damn pissed.

I'd probably be worried.

I wouldn't be the slightest worried. 20 days? Shit, I was clean in 5, and that was after a YEAR of constant smoking. Don't over do it on the water though...coming up as diluted is just a bad a fail as THC. (Maybe you'd take another, I'm not sure.)

Oh, and I bought a home drug test and came up clean. But they aren't nearly as accurate (apparently) as lab tests.

You were seriously clean from smoking and passed a drug test in 5 days? Some job that I was thinking about applying for does a mouth swab on the day of the interview but you can quit smoking and pass that after just a couple days if you use listerine etc I heard

And had me take one every day until I was clean.

Yeah, me too! But around day 3 or so, I'm finishing up paperwork, and he says okay, you have to finish that, and pee in this cup for us, and you're done. Instantly I started to freak out, I ended up telling him my brother smokes around me every night because we shared a room. And then about 4 days after I passed that UA, I had to take another one for the doctors who check you out, and I passed that one too. And that's a high-grade lab analysis.

If the test is on tuesday, there's not much you can do other than just not think about it. It's probably going to be ok. Next time you get in a situation like this, you should burn fat! The THC stores in the fat, so the more fat you burn, the faster it leaves your system. But you should never work out right before a test. Seeing that the THC in the fat will come out through your piss. So if there's anything left in your fat... Burning the fat will release the THC into your piss. Or something like that. I dunno. Just remember, working out long before the test is very good working out right before the test is less good.

You should pass it unless you are extremely unlucky. Off topic I haven't seen FoodStuffs in forever. I thought something happened to him.

So I go into the clinic a half hour early, and they admitted me. I pissed in that cup, and the lady was super nice, explaining what they were gonna do with it and everything. It was a lot less intense than I'd thought; the nurse takes an instant test and tests it right there and then, and if it's positive, it's transferred to a different lab for more thorough analysis. But naturally, I came up negative after 5 minutes! I passed!

If you failed I would have been surprised.
