Just realized I haven't posted anything in a pretty long time. Here's one of my most recent songs for your listening pleasure.

Hey Rome, you know, it's me, Morgan Hicks, from soundcloud?
I'd just to let you know, (as you may already know), that I was definitely a big fan of yours after your chrysalis song, but after hearing this, you're definitely now on my favourite top 5 favourite artists.
I cannot even comprehend how I can tell you how much this inspires me to do more with my music, your music is nothing like the others, it's creative, fresh and unique, unlike others in, not just soundcloud, but the music industry as a whole.
You're an incredible producer, Renin, you should DEFINITELY keep it up, because your skills just at this moment are that of a professional producer, imagine how good you'll be in 1, 2, or 3 years!?
Good luck, oh, and great song haha :v:
Dude I love you so much. You're definitely one of my biggest fans at the moment and a huge source of confidence and inspiration for me. I'm running out of ways to say thank you for your support.
This song is amazing. All your songs are amazing. You are amazing.
This song is really great. The first thing that the song reminded me of the DiRT3 soundtrack, really noticeably around the 1:40 mark, except well, this is better.
10/10, I've been coming back to this one.
Jesus dude, this is pure amazingness! I love this track man! So groovy and chill. Keep it up!
Whenever I feel remotely frightened by sounds at night, I give this a listen, seriously calms me down, you truly have created a masterpiece
Sounds really great dude. Also what DAW did you use to make this?

Also wasn't sure but is that sample "Starry Eyed" by Ellie Goulding?

I believe he uses Ableton, I saw a screenshot of his PC once (there's a chance he coulda changed)

Yes as he said I use Ableton. And yeah it's a chopped up section of that song. Good ear!
Man can I ask where you get such dynamic creativity from? Who/what inspires you to make such awesome pieces like this?
I go to music events a lot where they have hugely diverse lineups of local artists as well as big names. Recently I went to something called Lightning in a Bottle at Lake Irvine, which was incredible. We camped in the desert for 3 days and enjoyed so many amazing EDM producers, including Bassnectar, Gramatik, Tipper, Opiuo, and countless local musicians. It's really hard for me to define specific influences, but I derive so much from experiences like that as well as the best artists from the EDM genres. I also get a lot of inspiration from rap and hip hop DJs. Some of my stranger influences are world music (Ethnic music from the far East, like India and China, and Buddhist/Hindu spiritual music, etc.), classical music, and even film soundtracks.
It's easier for me to pinpoint influences for specific songs rather than my music as a whole. For example, the song I'm currently working on is heavily inspired by Netsky, Noisia, The Brookes Brothers, Danny Byrd, and various indeterminate sources from the above paragraph.

Sadly there aren't anything like that in middle finland. The last "music event" I was in was a small thing for local metal bands to play at. Most of them weren't that good and we just forgot about them and just drank beer outside

Holy shit that sounds awesome.
The only good artist I could possibly ever see is Madeon because he's the only one that doesn't have shows that are 18+ :v:

dude yo, this is really boss. quite different, i like the vibe, i love that bloopy synth.
i gotta note one thing though, it's a little lacking in low mids. like, my monitors have a huge bump at 150hz but this still sounds a little tinny. maybe it's just that i've been listening to hip hop too much tho, haha.
good job anyway.
