Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum will launch his second presidential campaign on Wednesday afternoon, attempting to bolster his reputation as a social-issues warrior with an appeal as a champion of the working class. Mr. Santorum hopes outreach to lower-income Americans, combined with his base of support among evangelical Christians and the party’s most conservative voters, will propel him ahead of better-funded candidates with establishment backing. Mr. Santorum told ABC News Wednesday morning that he will launch his campaign on Wednesday afternoon. The launch event will be held in Cabot, Pa., northeast of Pittsburgh. The strategy builds on his 2012 bid as a lunch-bucket conservative with a populist economic tone and a focus on social issues, an image that appealed to voters who felt eventual nominee Mitt Romney was insufficiently conservative. “There’s a real opportunity for a candidate to come forward with a plan that’s going to provide upward mobility for everybody and unite the country in a way that we haven’t seen in a long time,” he said on CBS’s “Face the Nation” last month.
http://www.wsj.com/articles/rick-santorum-to-launch-second-white-house-bid-1432730474

Didn't he have less support than Ron Paul?
I hope he loses spectacularly and blames it on something interesting
Does he still want to ban porn?
I know we don't like him and all, but do we really have to call him that?
I know we don't like him and all, but do we really have to call him that?
Of course we do.
I'd vote for fucking Hilary before I gave my vote to this guy
Hillary Clinton is like one of those people you sometimes find in the workplace who are absolutely toxic and create a hostile environment, but management have their hands tied and can't fire the person. Fuck that, I'd rather vote for Bernie Sanders.
Why don't people like this guy?
Can someone post his hilarious TV ad from last election?
Why don't people like this guy?
Because he's a liar.
Of course we do.
No. We don't. Regardless of what he believes, that's no excuse to degrade and insult him like that. I reflects very poorly on us.
Regardless of what he believes, that's no excuse to degrade and insult him like that. I reflects very poorly on us.
Considering his behavior and attitudes, I could care less about him being insulted.
It seems a bit childish that because you don't like some politician you call him a frothy lube and shit mixture online. Im actually pretty sure a 10 year old called me that on modern warfare 2.
It seems a bit childish that because you don't like some politician you call him a frothy lube and shit mixture online. Im actually pretty sure a 10 year old called me that on modern warfare 2.
You're a frothy lube mixture.
This guy is a complete nutcase. Him and Ron Paul should be banned from politics.
Now that's some serious fucking freedom and democracy right there god bless the usa
It seems a bit childish that because you don't like some politician you call him a frothy lube and shit mixture online. Im actually pretty sure a 10 year old called me that on modern warfare 2.
until you realize that rick is worse then such a mixture.
Now that's some serious fucking freedom and democracy right there god bless the usa
Ahh the crux of democracy never fails. Both smart, and not so smart ideas are allowed, and sadly not in the same quantity or quality. We just have to have faith in the people to make the smart choice. But seeing as how "smart" in this context is subjective, my suggestion is to temper your expectations and maybe hope for some surprises.

This is the same man who said that if a child is conceived through rape "the right approach is to accept this horribly created...gift of human life, and accept what God has given to you" rather than seek an abortion.
why do i always see this shit on facepunch? why is the rest of the world so fucking concerned with america? i oft see other nations as having some sort of strange twisted international scale voyeuristic problem americans don't look at your nation and say "oh heh heh, look at these guys again" it's kind of repulsive, like imagining your neighbor you never talk to looking in your backyard all the time
Didn't he want to invade Iran last time or something insane like that?
Because he's a liar.
Okay, Santorum is stupid and dumb, but oh god (based on this pretty much) MSNBC sucks the broad one.
Ah yes, the long lost Wilson brother returns.
Didn't he have less support than Ron Paul?
He was the GOP's last desperate effort to not pick Romney

And it seems quite appropriate to some since he is homophobic.
