I found this video randomly and I began watching them and it's pretty interesting. Basically, a veteran drug enforcement officer shows you how to stay under the radar, but it goes much deeper than that. Watch for yourself. Part1 Part2 Part3 Part4 Part5 Never Get Raided Again Part1 Part2 Part3 Part4
You couldn't even bother trying to explain it? I'm not about to sit through 50min of videos just to learn some things I probably already knew.
Explanation, please!
I take the metal panel off the side of my CD player in the trunk of my Lexus to store goods. (my car's cleaner ;) ) See where you can barely make out CD Changer? That piece comes off and you can put all kinds of stuff in there. Pretty good hiding spot?
Those videos are fucking awesome.
Wow this is actually awesome, you fuckers not watching this thinking it's too long need to smoke some weed or a stogie and chill, then watch this. [editline]09:41PM[/editline]
Those videos are fucking awesome.
Yes [editline]09:49PM[/editline] I like how he says "from twelve.....to infinity,". For all you lazy fucks, Barry Cooper was a highly respected drug enforcement officer in Texas with a really high bust count. As he went on busting he noticed the people he was sending to jail for marijuana, good honest citizens like himself. Like many Americans, he believes the drug war is a complete failure and marijuana isn't this "demon" plant the government plays it out to be. So now he released this informational DVD about staying safe from the law enforcers perspective. He also has other DVDs like Kop Busters. Like one segment they rent a house and set up the typical shit for a growing operation only instead of marijuana plants, it's tiny Christmas trees. The house is rigged with hidden cameras and eventually is raided, illegally, all caught on tape.

So basically he did this just to entice cops into breaking into that house for the sake of his DVD movies? If I was a cop I would probably go apeshit if I saw hydroponics. And the legality of these things has a huge grey area. Scenario: Cop gets a call that someone is growing green. Cop walks up to talk to the owner of the house. Cop sees a hydroponics system in plain view through the window. If that cop has substantial on-scene, line-of-sight evidence, yes he can raid your fucking house. When you think about it, they had to have gotten a tip one way or another to do that. Cops don't just randomly raid places. The only way they could have a got a tip is if the jackass that makes the videos, set them up, or if a neighbor saw them in plain view. Don't grow tiny Christmas trees that look like bud in your house.
He's speaking out about corruption in the legal system and it's enforcers. He's did that segment because police planted marijuana on an innocent female Texan. So yes, a law enforcement officer who woke up and is doing something about the bogus marijuana laws and officers ignoring citizens 4th amendment rights is pretty stupid.

I'm not referring to the rest of his videos, only what you just said. Trying to lure cops is retarded and I don't see where it proves a point. I just outlined an instance where it would be in the "grey area" of legality to raid that house. Usually if its a successful raid, and they can cite a good reason as to why they took action before a warrant, the judge will allow it. [editline]10:22PM[/editline]
What the hell? Since when is a hydroponics setup against the law??
It's not. I didn't say it was. But he clearly made it look like it was marijuana by using "tiny christmas trees." I'm just citing it because he WANTED it to look like marijuana and he wanted to fool the cops into thinking so.

Not to mention that the raids are often unjust to start with, and people can be pulled away with the possession of a dimebag in their own home. 2: I think he used Christmas trees to show that not everything people do in their homes that gives off a lot of heat/energy is a grow-op. Plus, Christmas trees are something that would make the officers feel pretty stupid for illegally raiding a house.
Here, this will make some sense about it. This is the footage of an illegal raid the KopBusters triggered. The police lied on the affidavit to get the warrant not knowing it was a trap set for them. The raiding officers are confused because according to their illegal affidavit, they thought the house contained 80 marijuana plants and $19,000. The house contained nothing illegal...just two Christmas trees growing under a light. And on the subject of planting evidence, it happens all the time. Cops are not these golden upstanding enforcers of the law, they are civilians like me and you. When arrests aren't being made in the "war" on drugs(which is a war on people) you need evidence that the efforts aren't 100% futile. It's shitty but it happens.
You said that made it okay for them to raid your house. [editline]09:33PM[/editline]
Yeah. If they see something that looks remarkably like marijuana growing in your living room with a hydroponic system, they will probably bust down your door. It's not the hydroponic part of the equation, it's the part where it was all set up to look like marijuana. [editline]10:46PM[/editline]
From what I've gathered, the police where using illegal methods of information gathering(as deemed by the Supreme Court)
....Like what? I think it had to have been a neighbor or the guy who made this dropped hints.
Do I have to spell it out? Supreme Court makes certain techniques and technologies illegal Police ignore this, using them anyway Police are caught breaking the law
Do I have to spell it out? Jesus Christ dude [editline]10:59PM[/editline] Tell me a way they could illegally gather intelligence on an unmarked house with no prior incidents.
I'm glad this guy got his head out of his ass! I've been pulled over with a half o on me before. I was smoking a cigarette, and I think the cop thought it was weed, but he just gave me a ticket and went on his merry fucking way.
Stupid.
Elaborate what you disagree with
The issue is that you think it's okay for cops to bust people for... growing anything?
The issue is that you think it's okay for cops to bust people for... growing anything?
....No... I clearly stated that it would have to look like cannabis. No ones going to break your door down for some tomatoes. The test would have been a lot better if they had used something that looked less like marijuana. But of course, nothing would have happened, so they had to lure them with something that looked at least a little like bud and could be mistaken for it at a glance. I'm sure the cops were like D'oh when they saw what it was

The first part of this video is from my hometown lol
Okay, enough of that argument. Aarron doesn't know anything. I haven't watched these vids, but up here in canada, not many cops think weed is bad. Where I live, they don't even care, just say thinks like "Don't get caught again" or just take it away

This thread just proves what I've been saying all along: Aaronn is a goddamn retard
