It was supposed to be straight comedy but seems like he really wants to do something with more personality. It looks like it could work really well.

It's an urban movie and DA is just that. It wouldn't be an issue if they threw it in the background somewhere along the way.

it's not that I can't watch it with them being in it, it's just that Yolandi might go off on one of her gimmicks and show her pubes or pussy again

I mean Neil Blomkamp has awesome sci-fi story concepts brought straight out of the 70s era, and has amazing fucking artists to make it have a modern realistic edge. I am just not so confident on his skills to make a really good movie anymore.
