Why can't this be real.
I'm surprised people would still want to make content like this after stories like this one were all declared non-canon.
Aren't they making a boba fett movie?

I imagine Boba Fett being alive is still cannon in the new universe.
I mean imagine if he did die what a lame death, knocked into a giant tentacle monster by a blind scruffy looking nerfherder.

Some new Star Wars book confirmed his armor made it out, so it's safe to assume he did as well.

well plenty of people who wrote comics for Star Wars have alluded and also blatantly made it obvious that he survived the attack, and it's certainly possible that he did. the EU being declared non-canon including post scarlacc Boba doesn't really mean anything. i'm sure official content will come out with Boba surviving the attack and coming back from that attack in the movie they proposed, and possibly more than just that.
Wow, that is really well-made.
I think it's canon they Boba lived and he continued to revel in his badassery. Pit monsters can't fret the fett

It WAS canon, but then all the canon was scrapped.
while I like some of the EU, most if not all the "old" fans do not like the EU. believe me, they do not.
The vast majority of the old EU was terrible :v:

That begs the question that if most of the old books were deemed not canon that what makes new books any different.

I only liked it because of video games like Shadows of the Empire and the Jedi Knight series.
The vast majority of the old EU was terrible :v:
while some of that's true, the people I have in mind would not be happy that boba didn't go out like a throwaway character.
I mean, Boba wasn't really well known in the film lore aside being a bounty hunter with cool armor, but I'd be happy to have him survive and have an expanded storyline.

The vast majority of the New Canon will be terrible too. The cycle repeats itself.
Why'd they scrap all they old canon stuff? I remember when TFU came out and said some of its bullshit was canon
Why'd they scrap all they old canon stuff?
because there's an entirely new series of movies coming out that overrides the old EU canon
and why not just use the EU stuff? well as far as i'm concerned, it was an unsalvageable mess.

And who's to say old EU stuff won't be drawn on either. There's some good shit in there. Just because it's "not canon" now doesn't mean a Disney writer can't utilize it in new stuff.

hell, early on they even thought of featuring a Yuuzhan Vong scout ship in Clone Wars/Rebels.
It WAS canon, but then all the canon was scrapped.
It was never canon. The EU was always vague about canocity. Only the movies were 100%. Lucas in general tried to stick to it when making prequels but the EU contradicted itself a lot. It's why it was seperated off and called "EU" alongside the main canon.
However now there is an official canon and Boba Fett is heavily implied to still be alive in it.
To be fair just because they wiped canon doesn't mean that they won't keep things from the EU.
I'm willing to bet that the canon wipe was to get rid of silly shit like the vong invasion, Waru, or Chewbacca dying because they realized that they had basically made all the main characters immortal demigods and wanted to retcon that.
