Seeing I absolutely adore Mirrors Edge, I decided it was time to pay it a tribute. Made in two weeks, (1 week of planning, 3 days of editing/recording spontaneous needed scenes, 4 days of laziness :L) it is now completed and ready for viewing. I want to give a big fat thanks to Dean (A big fat ass) for giving me some instructive feedback! Please, enjoy the fruits of my labor.

I swear to god... you know those life moments when you envision something in your brain, but you can never make it look exactly how you see it? For the first time in my life, with that scene, I was able to pull off exactly what I wanted. I was so damn happy...
Wow, this is really cool. I especially love the wall running / shooting guard with machine gun part. Makes me want to play it again.

I love Mirror's Edge and I definitely love this. Fantastic work.
Now that I see the shotgun thing and flipping the cop over, It is kinda simple and easy but it looks so good.

Truth be told, it is quite easy to edit that type of scene... although, it requires just a bit of patience. You have to make sure all 3 scenes match up with the EXACT same frame as the upcoming clip. Anything before or 2 frames after makes it look janky.

Shows that there's a good side to disarm animations being only one anim, and only one fixed viewpoint. And that really showcases the lighting in that game.

I will honestly kill something if it doesn't. I can't imagine playing mirrors edge without a mouse... it would feel so limiting.
After seeing plenty of nice screenshots, videos and suggestions to play it in the General Ingame Media thread (and sometimes elsewhere), this video has finally made me decide to get ME and play through it. You did a really good job with this, man.
I'd suggest finding some other sites to link this to as well, it definitely deserves more attention.

God damn I know how exactly you feel, when you listen to a song and you envision a perfect montage but the end result turns out how you didn't expect it to

I really enjoyed this. I'm not into Mirrors Edge but I still found it really fun to watch and it was one of the best videos I've seen on here that were made by OP.

Nicely done, but the sudden cuts to black were really distracting, at least make it fade.

That was really cool, only suggestion would be to turn off runner vision to make it a bit more immersive
Didn't like the song but other than that it was pretty good. Oh, and the runner vision thing.
