We shall start with the tiny things they give you like BBQ Sauce i guess for the mash potato's since the Meatloaf already has flavoring? Apple Jelly which i guess is refering to It being just Apple flavored Jelly or Apple and Grape Jelley? We will find out soon enough.

You get a intresting raspberry cookie and some sticks that taste like chocolate. The cookie being very big in size and these sticks pretty long.

This lime/lemonade flavored drink seems confusing to make. I assume it's just big words for pour water in shake 30 minutes tada you have drink. But i don't know.

Main reason i opened one was to make sure it had the green bag. Without it these MRE's are a waste of my money. Sorry for the blurry clear bag, It's for hot bevage which i'm assuming later in this guide theres coffee or tea in the small bag.

Heres where i presume the coffee or tea is, For management purposes i won't open it till Northern light so i keep everything in this MRE together. But there is some matches, stuff to wipe your ass and face and then mints a cloth to clean a cut or something.

This crackers is fucking huge, It's 2 giant fucking crackers or 1 giant thick cracker. No wonder they gave you all that jelly and peanut butter. The crease line makes it look's like they are seperated but no it's one giant cracker. Picture does not do justice.

Finally the main meal and side dish. Look's great. My family was like what the fuck is this shit when i dropped it infront of them and said eat up.

BTW, the drink powder is better without water. Tastes like a pixie stick.

It was only a matter of time.
Most of these are quite good. I had this meat + rice mixture once, it was disgusting because i put salt on it, but mostly everything was pretty delicious.
I fucking love MRE's, for the good ones you gotta get on a military shop with a military ID, I live near West Point so I frequently buy MRE's there.

I lived on MRE's for about 2-3 weeks after the Florida hurricanes in 2004. I lived by a National Guard Armory, so I picked up a couple cases from there.
You had no other food?
I consider MRE's a good choice of food for 2-3 weeks
Not when your house has been completely destroyed. Not to mention there is no electricity or running water. I was homeless for about eight weeks after those storms.

Most of the temporary housing was already taken up. All FEMA had was trailers, and most of them were taken up as well. I just had one suitcase full of clothes and it took me eight weeks to find a permanent home.

I've had a few MREs before. The first one I had was noodles and pesto which was disgusting. The second was spaghetti and meat sauce which tasted almost exactly like Chef Boyardee (good or bad, up to you), and the one I had a while ago was some sort of meat patty. Idk but it was greasy and pretty good.
