Mixed on headphones so the subs might be off, and the drums are shit right now, and so are the pad and the lead. Spent about 5 mins so far on the pieces that aren't the bass, so only pay attention to that.
Nice, very nice indeed. Main synth is pretty good, just a tad loud. With some more filtering and whatnot that should make a pretty fucking awesome track.
What synth are you using?
Bounced out a nasty note from my virus and loaded it up in kontakt. Most of the sound comes from effects outside the synth though. Also worth noting that the sound I got from the virus was something that most synths would be able to do.
The bass sounds so wet. I love it! What did you use for the bass?

The virus is probably the least important part of the process. It's all the processing of the original sound that really makes it what it is. I could have made almost the same sound in Massive or Absynth or FM8 just as easily.
