"The Daily Mail had the perfect-"
no
anything after this statement is factually wrong
Is it so hard for them to fucking understand that this is New Zealand culture and they should respect it
Jesus Christ I'm fucking Australian and I feel a little offended by this that they're dissing their culture because it's indifferent to America
Fuck CNN
If that reporter is the reason behind this newspiece, she should find another job
This is just ignorance showing itself. Have they never heard of The Haka? They'd better read up, as rugby is the fastest growing sport in the US right now.
And her surname is Moos.
Yes our news media sucks
I never watch news on TV here, it's either one sided or just entirely stupid.

I'm American and I find this offensive. Is this the kind of shit CNN has sunk to?
This is fucked.
"Is this any way to greet a future king and queen?"
Yes. Yes it is. Because this is New Zealand and Maori's are an integral part of it, unlike native americans.
Fucking hell CNN, I watch you because you seemed like even folks.

I'd argue Lacrosse is but that depends on what you mean by fastest growing
I've seen reports by this reporter before. They are almost purely inconsequential puff pieces.
However I have never seen something so blatantly ignorant and offensive as this.
As much as I despise our news media, this is by far the exception rather than the rule.

This is always relevant to any discussion on CNN.
American media is pretty damn disgusting, this woman should really be fired.
Instead of making jokes about the maori's exposed ass, how about talk about how they prince and princess are honoring their culture respectfully.
Also why did she put her fuckin snout up in the camera?
At first I though this was satire but christ CNN. I always thought that CNN was somewhat respectable.

Pretty fucked when you really think about it but hey that's news media for you.
shes most likely there to appeal to "that" demographic
either way shes a fuckin slag, this is why i watch rt, at least their reporters are easy on the eyes and ears
then again i stopped watching the news cause fuck the news
I don't think people realise how ingrained Maori culture is in standard New Zealand culture.
CNN has done these "Social Media Stories" for awhile now, They also make these for local TV Stations so they can fill time, the good part about these reports are that they cannot air them after ten days of being released to stations due to some CNN policy on copyrighted stuff. If you wanna see more of this shit go to this webpage.
You mean CNN still reports on non-airplane related events?
I'm pretty sure that all most americans are disgusted at this new report as much as the rest of the world.

All of the related videos are gold as well

She's been doing that since I can remember. It's just a televised blog, before blogs were a thing
the only American news report that matters

I wanna go to New Zealand now just to be greeted like that, i bet it's awesome!
I just love how there is more coverage on the royal family in the states then there is here in the UK

Where did they diss the culture? Obviously they pointed out the massive differences which are a little silly to us, but that isn't offensive I don't think. This entire video was reasonable and seemed to rather enjoy it when leaders met native-type people.
