Dude normally does ASMR stuff, but even if you're not into that he still has some pretty wild videos. And then there's this:
He does a lot of videos like this. HE'S THE BEST.
He's really fucking good at improv and acting out his characters.
Bonus video ASMR is just getting fucking weird now.
EphemeralRift is seriously the best male ASMRtist out there IMO
Oh, boy, is it time for another ASMR thread of Facepunch? Well, one of my favorites is EphemeralRi- wait shit
Oh god I love this guy.
There's still that split of, you get the effects of ASMR and you understand the videos. You don't, and you just assume it's sexual to make a reason for it existing. Ephemeral Rift and a group of others are really good and creative. Those 'speaking up close to a friend' videos are just a bit creepy, and the conmunity know it.

Am I missing something about these videos? It just seems like high quality audio to me.
Am I missing something about these videos? It just seems like high quality audio to me.
Relaxing as all hell. If I watch a quality hour-long video, I'm usually asleep by 20 minutes in, and I suffer from serious insomnia. It's a lifesaver some nights. I'm not a big fan of vocal stuff or "talking ASMR," but there's some videos that are insanely relaxing. Shave and haircut videos are my favorites, preferably without talking. Spray bottles, scissor snips, and especially shaving cream noises just hit the spot that puts me right to sleep - it imitates the relaxing effect of getting a haircut in real life. It's basically like getting a really good massage, but minus the physical part. Knocks you out and relaxes you, plus it tends to feel pretty intimate and personal (in a totally non-sexual way, more in a friendly way).

Cheers!
Bonus video ASMR is just getting fucking weird now.
you mean it wasn't already?
honestly I've always thought about trying some ASMR stuff myself my voice sucks but I have access to a lot of anti-static bags and bubble wrap and stuff so it'd be fun just to do some object audio exploration stuff someday
