It's not so much as they think it's bad for us "teens" as they think we are too "young" to be interested into that stuff. The parents think that by saying porn or masturbation is bad we will grow up more concerned with getting a higher education and get a well paying job and when we get older THEN we can get into that stuff as much as we want. It's all a protection scheme by parents that in the end really back fires because the more a parent or parents try to shield something from their kids, the kid\kids are going to want to know what it is exactly the parents are hiding from them and why they think it's bad.
Trust me my parents did it to me but i am a sneaky bastard so they gave up and i have porn mags and dvds but now that' i'm 18 and can legaly do almost anything i want it's losing it's fun.
