Why, honestly, does the majority of this forum hate furries? Is it because they go around with the furry pride/ fursecution stuff? (i personally think that that is utter bullshit) or is it because they are different than you and you dont like what they are sexually attracted to? I have seen some pretty scalding stuff said about them, but they really arent any worse than regular people (unless they go around with the furry pride/fursecution bullshit as stated above) I personally have a furry friend, and he is a really nice, normal guy. so facepunch, so you just hate the ones that flaunt it, or all of them? I am talking as a completely impartial person as far as this goes, i am just really curious.

Besides the fact that we're dealing with sexuality towards different species, the image of furries has been repeatedly tarnished in the past, and in the present by members of the furry community who love to flaunt their preference, spamming pictures of furry sex and pictures, in hopes of drawing more people towards the "fad", while also preaching that this is the BEST way to go. It has severely dampened the reaction towards the preference as a whole, and because of this the general populace of "furrydom" is hated by a large majority of people, and facepunch is not an exception to this fact.

As a fetish furry isn't particularly worse than most others. The main problem is the fact that many furries deem it necessary to broadcast the fact that they are furries to the rest of the world. It's normal teenagers like us then they decide they want to be unique and express themselves for attention, by becoming sexually attracted to animals standing on two legs.
