Ugh, I had Dish for a few months. The DVR was terrible, the whole...dual mode thing was a pain....I'm glad we went back to DirecTV.

DirecTV is the shit.
I've tried satellite and cable, and still can't get over paying $30 a month for 200 shit channels I don't watch, and constant advertisements. Now I just have netflix streaming through my Xbox, and it's a much better, and cheaper, experience.
I love American commercials. If only they weren't on every 5 minutes.

Satellite TV doesn't compare to cable. Cable is Optical Fibre where i come from baby!!
I use AT&T U-Verse.
U-Verse is where its at.
I use Cox Communications for TV, internet, and phone.
I hate our local cable company Cablevision. They also have control of the local newspaper, some movie theaters, a few TV networks, and until recently a few sports teams and MSG.

I remember that slogan. Do they still use it? They only time I would see those commercials is when I watched Sioux City channels at my grandparents over their antenna. We don't have Comcast here.
Speaking of my grandparents, they have Dish, and it isn't that bad. The DVR made me go :aaa: and the set top box is really fast, and shows a small version of the current channel in the guide menu. I don't get how you lose signal. Are you sure yours isn't aimed shitty?

Whenever my dad tries to cancel our directTV or complains to them that its too expensive, they give us free shit. Like recently, we got a free DVR and installation, but we have to pay an extra 6 bucks, but then they also lowered our bill by 7 dollars, so we pay a dollar less and we get more stuff then we did before.
