Nathan Barnatt is gonna love this Also, source?
So what, it's the neo neo-geo?
So what, it's the neo neo-geo?
it's a handheld officially licensed neo geo pre-loaded with 20 games and a bunch of cool features on it
METAL SLUG FUCK YE- too bad everything up to my toilet seat can emulate it by now
Really, the only good thing about the original was the joypad thing with the microswitches. That's a pretty fucking big thing, though.
Damnit. I was hoping this had something to do with National Geographic and got all excited.
That handheld looks sexy as fuck
It would be neat if that Neo Geo X control panel was USB-based.
Needs more metal slug
$200?! That's expensive, they might as well create a whole new next gen one with Tegra 4 and just port the old games over or emulate them.
$200?! That's expensive, they might as well create a whole new next gen one with Tegra 4 and just port the old games over or emulate them.
SNK consoles have always been expensive as fuck. Anything that can play Arcade-class MVS cartridges is even MORE expensive.
199$ for outdated materials and games, no matter how nostalgic it makes me feel, it's still a ripoff.
anyone?
What are it's specs?
it's a handheld officially licensed neo geo pre-loaded with 20 games and a bunch of cool features on it
Not worth 200, especially in an age where people don't care for handheld games anymore
It's still way cheaper than a Supergun with all of those games, and it's portable. [editline]12th August 2012[/editline]
Not worth 200, especially in an age where people don't care for handheld games anymore
what
If the handheld had room for an SD card and a library of games that i could buy online, I'd check it out. But only if it was $50 for the handheld and from $2-$10 a game
Not worth 200, especially in an age where people don't care for handheld games anymore
IOS/Android??
I'd rather just drop $50 more and pick up a Vita.
If your going to spend $200 on something, buy Ouya.
Not worth 200, especially in an age where people don't care for handheld games anymore
On the contrary, handheld games are more popular than ever, they're just not played on dedicated handheld consoles.
That controller is huge as fuck, like I know that's what it used to be on the other Neo-Geo but they could of at least made it smaller?
That controller is huge as fuck, like I know that's what it used to be on the other Neo-Geo but they could of at least made it smaller?
They did make a Neo Geo console that used compact disc technology. You can run most of those games on an IOS/Android anyway, so theres really no point in getting this.
If this isn't just an emulator and is at least somewhat native, the battery life could be hugely better than most current portables
I guess old habits die hard, they never seemed to realize that the original Neo-Geo didn't sell because it costed the same price as an economy class european car.

Buy a Nexus 7 for 200$ dollars. Emulate every SNK game ever made and still have everything else that comes with owning a tablet [editline]12th August 2012[/editline] What a rip off price point, honestly
i'm calling this is a hoax. the portable looks like an iphone mockup with some phony joysticks tacked on.
