What a steal
Wow, for a 2017 Mercedes that is pathetically lackluster looking. The Odyssey even looks better than that
His incessant jabs towards this thing were amazing
It's pretty amazing just how bad this car legitimately is
Damn they really phoned this van in. It's comparable to the van my family had and that thing was from 2001.
I was convinced five minutes in. The crazy part is it's a twenty five minute video. Some of these oversights are insane.
I can get a used VW minivan from the early 2000' and it would probably have more features and cost probably only 5% of that listed price, probably even less.
5 minutes in and I'm already beyond confused as to how this thing was designed. It's not even funny levels of dumb.
OH MY FUCKING GOD THE FUEL DOOR!
it's like you turn a Volkswagen Multivan into a Caddy
Well, it is a cargo van turned into a minivan, but everything seems like a cheap solution.
Fixed-back seats? No handrests? No folding/easy to take out seats? Holy crap, everything about this is horrible. Even the work car for lugging construction people is a bad argument, as a 20 year old Chrysler Voyager would do a better job.
The whole design screams that they just took one of their cargo vans and threw the cheapest bidder shit inside it to fill a hole in their lineup, then hoped some shmuck would buy it for the MB badge on the front. The materials look like something straight out of a '90s Dodge and their trademark PlaySkool® plastic.
It's like the Ford Transit Connect, which is sold as a passenger vehicle but at heart it's a fleet vehicle. But at least the Ford is cheap.
What the fuck made them (MBUSA) think this would be a hit in the U.S of all places?
It's not even the good Viano.

Pretty minor gripe with the video but 'telephony' is actually a word and it's used properly in this instance.
it aint got shit on the previa

it's mid-engine and has a 5-speed, it's basically an AW11
I thought it was an early 2000's model.
died laughing when he said 2017 model
What a piece of shit. You'd have to be a complete badgewhore to buy it and then never show it to anyone
built a 2018 ford transit connect

it's $29,025 and it has:
touch screen navigation
alloy wheels
blind spot monitoring
reverse sensing systems
rear view camera
remote start
electric windshield heater (invisible electrified film embedded in the front glass)
partial leather seats
panoramic roof window
dual zone automatic climate control

But does it have lots of blank buttons that you can push for fun?
After seeing that gas cap placement

Maybe Mercedes just decided to intentionally build a troll vehicle because they got bored with making other cars.
Not surprised,it is their cheapest model after all. People probably only buy it for the badge :v:
I find the way this guy talks in reviews to be annoying, but put up with it. I think he'd do better just acting less like a lizard pretending to be a human.
The van itself feels like it would've been fine if it they were asking 18k, which would be reasonable for the shitbox that it is.

This is the most watchable video of his I've seen in that I managed to make it through to the end instead of exiting the whole browser 2 minutes in
Metris sounds like android store tetris knockoff

Do a Trueno Connect instead. Basically same as a Transit Connect but it's got a longer ass for more space
We got a Merc van at work and I decided to check if it had the same fuel filler door as this one, and yes it does.

It's really not necessary to slam your door all the way open into the fuel pump like he claims. It's just an easy way to design a locking filler door without using any additional locks or mechanic wires or anything. When the car's locked, you won't be able to steal fuel from it unless you use a crowbar. He exaggerates a lot in many of his videos.
