As stated by YandereDev himself, Yandere Simulator has been banned from streaming on the Twitch platform. This adds to an every growing list that includes indie sensation HuniePop, Criminal Girls, and Hatred. B ut what’s unknown at this time is what exactly has gotten the banned from the service. While Twitch has specific guidelines in place regarding adult content, no information was given by twitch on exactly what Yandere Simulator does to get it banned. In fact, Twitch had absolutely no communication with the developer on the banning, as he indicated that he found out via a friend. For those who are unaware of the game, Yandere Simulator has you playing to try to get the love of your precious senpai, and dealing with any competition in possibly violent ways.
The youtube streaming service is fine. I hope we see some kind of migration at some point. The powers at be at twitch have been quite annoying.
Let me guess, the Hitman series is not banned. I can't believe the amount of shit YanDev has to put up with.
Man come on that game is funny as shit
Isn't there a mature content warning thing that you can enable for your channel on twitch? Why not force that on when people are playing games on that list?
twitch sure seems to hate anime based on the banned list
i'd like to see a high profile game get banned so that twitch can have a lawsuit and drop the list streaming is a huge part in raising awareness of indie titles a massively public service arbitrarily blacklisting titles is unacceptable
Yandere Simulator is really cool and the dev is really passionate about it, it sucks hard that Twitch randomly decided to take a stand against it out of nowhere
you can drug and strip underage girls in the game can't you? probably the reason why it got banned.
Yandere Simulator and Hatred are banned? But Manhunt, where you can bash a cop full force over the head with a crowbar, then ram the sharp into into the back of his neck, and give it a hefty jerk for maximum brutality, is perfectly fine? If you're going to ban shit, at least be consistent. Hatred got nothing on Manhunt.
Well that's complete bullshit.
you can drug and strip underage girls in the game can't you? probably the reason why it got banned.
I'm pretty sure the only girl you can strip is yourself.
you can drug and strip underage girls in the game can't you? probably the reason why it got banned.
if this is true, it's not really surprising

I think I'm gonna look past the anime aesthetic and give this game a try. Some of the shit you can do is hilarious, so I've heard. Staging suicide by pushing a girl in front of a train, for example. But even that is still very mild.
i'd like to see a high profile game get banned so that twitch can have a lawsuit and drop the list streaming is a huge part in raising awareness of indie titles a massively public service arbitrarily blacklisting titles is unacceptable
I'd like to have a game blacklisted by Twitch, talk about a publicity boost from people who think that it's the most horrific game ever made.
if i was the dev i would be pissed twitch should not ban AO games at all, just add a fucking disclaimer too bad nothing will happen, consumers don't complain anymore, and when someone does all they get is a "stop bitching" from other consumers
if this is true, it's not really surprising
Drugging is literally taking a syringe from the nurses office undetected and sneaking up behind them and injecting them literally the same as hitman games with their syringes.. You cannot undress anyone but yourself and only in the shower area and even then theres godrays and steam covering up everything
They probably think it's a hentai VN or something. Remember when Senran Kagura was banned even though it's the farthest thing from a VN you can imagine? Twitch admins aren't particularly smart.
twitch sure seems to hate anime based on the banned list
My name is not important desu
Though, perhaps, not the farthest thing from a hentai.
it's basically dynasty warriors crossed with dragon ball Z crossed with "tits are life ass is hometown" starring clothes getting ripped off depending on damage
starring clothes getting ripped off depending on damage
sure [t]https://jii.moe/EJDL6ks_x.png[/t] probably not on the same scale, but the mechanic's there
SK was unbanned after a couple days and I'm hoping this will be too.
i'd like to see a high profile game get banned so that twitch can have a lawsuit and drop the list streaming is a huge part in raising awareness of indie titles a massively public service arbitrarily blacklisting titles is unacceptable
What grounds would a lawsuit have?
Isn't there a mature content warning thing that you can enable for your channel on twitch? Why not force that on when people are playing games on that list?
Because kids will say "I'm old enough" when they are underage - Parents see the content and moan at twitch
Because kids will say "I'm old enough" when they are underage - Parents see the content and moan at twitch
To which the only appropriate response is "Then I guess you're not a very good parent and should learn to be a better one."
Probably just gonna move to YouTube or HitBox for gaming streams in the future. Never thought I'd say it, but Twitch is awful.
Probably just gonna move to YouTube or HitBox for gaming streams in the future. Never thought I'd say it, but Twitch is awful.
So is hitbox, a lot of shit relating to their vod and highlighting system has been broken and buggy for years
Remember that there are some alternatives for Twitch. It's really hard to watch for me how much political correctness is overused. At elast I think that's what's a problem in this case.
lets celebrate by twitch streaming the gta v stripclub nude lapdances and akiba strip selective censorship is bad
