also i didn't make the show, so stop complaining...
Haha, I love the GSG9 blowing the dudes head off.
I've always found Deadliest warrior very silly.
You can't rate an army/something similar on the weapons they use but not on how they use them.
But at the same time, there isn't much else to go on.
In the end you get to see a whole lot of cool shit, so who cares.
I like the Ballistics Gel parts but the rest is stupid baby cock shit.
Test 1 Roman- Spear this gel body 90 times =Success
Test 2 Native- Poison dust this pig bone. = Failure
Really stupid and biased tests, and the guys who are "experts" on the factions act like kids "SWAT PWNS NAZIS LOL!"

It's supposed to be entertaining, it wouldn't be very entertaining if it was all scientific and the likes. They're going for a mythbusters approach ( except mythbusters do it better )
But I do agree, it's very biased. And some of the end results are not the average, just random calculations making the past tests unneeded.
I want a ballistics gel dummy so I could beat the shit out of it.

I like how when testing weapons they test nearly everything except the weapons.
That looks fucking stupid.
Battle was retarded, the only reason the SWAT won was by doing something completely out of the ordinary.
did those people actually die
Those GSG helmets are real big and keep making me think of Toads from Mario.
"I think there's something to be said for good fashioned american know how and stick-to-it-tiveness."
I want to shove a damn sting grenade up that computer guys ass.
Not only because of this but when they were being criticized for constantly having stealth vs tank combatants he said.
"We aren't going to have stealth vs stealth, this isn't deadliest assassin"
Lets see first,
The assault rifle tests:
Fucking stupid.
- was based on gore
- was done without testing accuracy beyond 5 feet
- This was not a weapons test, human test maybe but it doesn't demonstrate the weapons effectiveness
The Sniper Rifle:
Better but still stupid
- Based in a variable outdoor environment
- Human based, not weapon based
- The target area is subjective
- You do not yell "fire" when sniping, you wait till you are ready (minor, but stupid)
The Non Lethal weapons:
Are you that fucking stupid?
- Jesus christ how?
- You are testing two different devices
- You are comparing a claymore to a grenade
- You used full human mannequins for the SWAT team and had them all standing in front of the device.
- For GSG9 you used 5 inch radius hollow balls to substitute humans
- GSG9 had to have the balls destroyed to count as a target down
- SWAT had to have a target hit by a needle at any point to be considered down
- You are testing a device you have to set up to a grenade that can be deployed at any time
End Display:
Directed by M.Night.Shamylan
- It's like watching people act out CS:S gameplay, no tactics where everyone has radar.
- In the beginning the SWAT state they are specialized and the GSG9 are trained for all purposes. Why the hell does the SWAT sniper decide to pull a shotgun out of his ass?
- And then the sniper was really in a van. How did he unlock the van? How did he ever know that the GSG9 would go to the van?
- Why does the SWAT team know exactly where the GSG9 are going to be at the exact right times?
I'm dissapointed. They should have just brought in 4 REAL S.W.A.T. members and 4 REAL GSG9 members and had them fight in a symmetrical area. That would be more accurate and entertaining.
I'm sorry a SWAT team is trained locally in citys PD's. An anti terror force is far more trained. I like the reasoning of "Good ol American tactics" as the reason the SWAT wins, and "better weapons", the show is full oh shit. I'm even saying this as an American. I like how they automatically assume bigger caliber = better weapon.

The thing that got to me most is this argument.
GSG9: We are constantly training in anti terrorist situations.
SWAT: We work in LA.
Doctor: I know from being a doctor that LA is the worst battleground in the world. SWAT is obviously better trained.

The GSG9 are a counter-terrorism unit, SWAT is just a special police unit, the US don't send in their SWAT teams to deal with terrorists, they use the seals or other units, its a weird comparison at best and the GSG9 should have won.

This would work well and be entertaining, either have an airsoft or paintball game and battle it out till one team is down. :v:
What station does this air on? I want to watch it badly
Spike.

Fixed, and
SWAT is used in the US to deal with pretty much everything a cop can't handle. Hostages, terrorists, riots, armed suspects, etc.

Or you can just use simunition. It's a combonation of a bullet and a paintball. It's pretty much a paintball that is as accurate as a bullet and fits in a real gun.
How do you compare a nonstandard law enforcement group to a Counter Terrorism unit?
Why are they comparing an elite terror squad against slightly better than average policemen? Seriously, that is all SWAT is.
[editline]09:25PM[/editline]
I've had the local SWAT team called on my house. Don't ask. They were just the normal policemen with mp5's.

A counter-terrorist unit, not an. :eng101:
And some extra armor.
that was stupid, swat guys would never separate like that, neither would GSG9
It's just like when people start team killing in CS:S :downs:
Only with crappier acting

Quite frankly I agree. I think have the SWAT's weapons caliber in my gun would be a problem for me to due over penetration in tight areas, and I don't think 1 cm of diameter of a bullet is gonna be much of a difference if your shooting a guy point blank like they did in the test.
Neither of those forces would have been splitting up like that. That doesn't really show either of the force's actual tactics at all.
