Did they ever make this game run decently on consoles? I'd love to pick it up but I doubt my computer could run it.

you did wingsuit challenges for wingsuit stuff
you did 2(count it, 2) challenges to max out the grapple
other than that literally everything was optional
I get that people hated that system but it's really weird how people just make shit up about it

and there were a shitload of those wingsuit challenges, and certain things that should have just been a basic starting gameplay mechanic, like being able to exit the wingsuit without needing to use a parachute, is hidden behind an unlock. So instead of unlocking cool shit you're just ungimping your character.
The jetwing does look great though, here's hoping you don't have to mail order it in every time you die like you had to with the jet parachute thing from JC2.
I actually enjoyed most of the challenges.

I honestly don't see the issue as much as you must

The suit challenges themselves weren't bad, the load times really left me salty, most of the challenges are okay enough, with the exception of those destruction challenges. I guess that's my fault for playing it on the PS4.
The Land DLC has mechs.

The PC version depends on your rig or luck. Some people with 970's and i7's can't start the game at all or have terrible FPS. Some run just fine
The PS4 version seemed alright when I red boxed it, though the loading could take forever
