Our son Leopold was recently diagnosed with a rare disorder called Oculocutaneous Albinism (OCA). This affects the coloring of his skin, hair, and eyes and leaves him with extremely impaired vision. But today he received his glasses....and can now see the world clearly for the very first time.
This is, as far as I can tell, the original upload.
There's something strangely magical about a baby wearing glasses.
reminded me of those videos of deaf or those that are near deaf regaining their hearing

I know that babies are constantly learning things about the world (because they know so little) as it is, and this kid's mind is totally blown by the sudden discovery of the wonderful world of , but babies really do look like tiny drunks.
i always have wondered how they get the strength of the lenses right for a baby who can't tell you if number 1 is better than number 2

Welcome to the wondrous world of autorefractors aka that machine everyone has to peer into before they actually start reading any numbers or letters at the eye doctor's. There's also retinoscopy.
I look forward to seeing him on stage with Rush and Snoop Dogg

there's another one of those videos where the baby got hearing aid, they were crying at first because it was scary to them how they were inserting the aid into their ears, but then after they could hear they were laughing like all hell, that one shows clearly how sudden it is to be able to hear again, anyone know which one im talking about?
God I love these kinds of videos. There was an especially heartwarming one with a deaf dog hearing for the first time. really hit home for me since I had a deaf pit bull that I had to put down a few years ago :(
