Funny bug, they told me just to slam H on start up to get the character screen open, but it didn't work in multiple games.
https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1529994 dont absuse it too much tho
I'd like to try it as Mei, but I'd rather avoid a ban.
People are getting banned for a week if they do this exploit. https://www.reddit.com/r/Overwatch/comments/4wsjyt/blizzard_just_issued_7_day_bans_to_lucioball_bug/
Blizzard are assholes
Blizzard are assholes
Not the guy ruining it for everyone else?
People are getting banned for a week if they do this exploit. https://www.reddit.com/r/Overwatch/comments/4wsjyt/blizzard_just_issued_7_day_bans_to_lucioball_bug/
lets make a funny silly gamemode and ban people for abusing glitches in a funny silly gamemode i mean i understand if this was competitive/casual but its not. It's brawl. A Gamemode section where blizzard constantly bends rules of the game
I'd like to think people should know better, but at the same time it's completely harmless. At least they're giving warnings before banning people. Right?
I think it's fair to know that Blizzard has always had a zero tolerance against anyone who ruins the enjoyment of the game for everyone else.
Very true.
I think it's fair to know that Blizzard has always had a zero tolerance against anyone who ruins the enjoyment of the game for everyone else.
I still remember when they waited until that one guild had Lich King at 10% before banning them for using an exploit to get world first.
I'd like to try it as Mei, but I'd rather avoid a ban.
Mei causes the game to crash if ice wall is used.
I think it's fair to know that Blizzard has always had a zero tolerance against anyone who ruins the enjoyment of the game for everyone else.
they should ban themselves then because the bug's been in the game for basically a week
I think it's fair to know that Blizzard has always had a zero tolerance against anyone who ruins the enjoyment of the game for everyone else.
how serious do you take lucioball?
Man people on the ow sub are being complete assholes about this
imagine that you just got back home from a long day at work. your boss hates you, your co-workers are gossiping about you, your wife complains to you about the dishes, and your fucking ugly kid comes in demanding his weekly allowance. the only joy you get is not from the relaxing car drive on the I-5, but by playing video games on the Xbox in your alone time. except that joy is ruined by that one douchebag player who is using glitches to win and says "gg ez". that player cheating to win and you taking good sportsmanship seriously isn't a good blend. at this point, you just got another grey hair and a step closer to inching that gun barrel to your mouth the moral of the story is that you don't drive on the I-5
if you get stressed and suicidal over a minigame in a fps then you have bigger issues in life
if you get stressed and suicidal over a minigame in a fps then you have bigger issues in life
You really should just avoid the internet entirely if you are that easily triggered.
if you get stressed and suicidal over a minigame in a fps then you have bigger issues in life
I think what usaokay meant was that games are supposed to be fun, a way to escape from the daily stress of life. By having people ruin the fun of others in said game, it's just another source of anger and frustration, that can easily actually make you do stupid stuff, even if it's not suicide. I'm fairly sure each one of us had this happen to us, a week full of bad events, culminating in a small annoyance that wouldn't have affected us in any other circumstance, the straw that broke the camels back if you will.
Harambeball?
Not the guy ruining it for everyone else?
Might as well start banning people that play badly. Because hey, they can ruin my game too!
Glitches are fun! Granted you're not abusing the fuck out of them. Lucioball isn't that much of a serious gamemode so I don't believe a harsh reaction is in warranted.
lmao the people defending abusing a glitch need a reality check. bonus points if they are angry at blizzard for rightfully banning people.
blizzard's response is such a pompous one, especially considering it's not a full-on competitive gamemode. the fault lies with the way they've handled the situation, even more so because they're an AAA developer. "please don't do this exploit" as a message to gamers will only result in even more exploiting
I find it kinda odd to ban for something Blizzard themselves fucked up, honestly. Just fix it and be done with it, maybe next time they wont release a minigame with a glitch like that
Maybe people will realize that abusing exploits is against the EULA and results in possible punishment. "Oh but I didn't read the EULA." Yeah but you still agreed to it so...
blizzard's response is such a pompous one, especially considering it's not a full-on competitive gamemode. the fault lies with the way they've handled the situation, even more so because they're an AAA developer. "please don't do this exploit" as a message to gamers will only result in even more exploiting
Is that then, a pompous response from the gamer community? I could see it being funny at first. But surely when every preteen comedic genius thinks they're hilarious in doing it, could be extremely annoying. You'd probably never find a single round played properly, making the game mode pointless. Specially since anyone not bending the rules of the gamemode is completely defenseless. Look at it this way, if you were hosting a gmod server, and witnessed someone using an exploit in the hosted gamemode to get ahead; would you not as the admin, apply discipline, or ban the user? I'm sure you probably would, and you'd probably hear a lot of bitching from the other players too.
