The video shows some deleted scenes and half finished ideas after the whole breakdown although it's extremely short.
Mad skill involved in this entire project, honestly.
So if the guy did it alone, he's great at drawing, animating, editing, texturing and modelling. Holy hell.
Guy also has done a lot of porn of the mother with his art style. My source is /co/.

I hope he's going to do the same for the rule 34 clip. haha just kidding, I want him to do more porn.
He should finish the deleted scenes
I wish I could draw, animate and edit something this great. All I could do for now is just try and improve.
I don't get why he does lipsync if he wants it to look like an anime anime never has lipsync
Mike Inel has so many talents it's crazy. His little intros were the dot over the i when it came to Katawa Shoujo
I don't get why he does lipsync if he wants it to look like an anime anime never has lipsync
It has lip sync for the original japanese voice work, of course they're not going to re-animate all the faces to sync to dubs
I don't get why he does lipsync if he wants it to look like an anime anime never has lipsync
ahm ahm ahm ahm ahm ahm ahm ahm ahm
The deleted Halloween scene was released in an unfinished state. I found it on Youtube 00:32 it starts.
It has lip sync for the original japanese voice work, of course they're not going to re-animate all the faces to sync to dubs
No, what I mean is that they're always just animated with two or three frames of open or closed mouths, not to the specific sounds.
Have you ever watched anime that's not shitty cashgrab ones?
I have. Unless it's like a ghibli movie or some special moment like a mouth closeup or something, there's never proper lip sync. This is because they record the voices after they do the animation, rather than before and animating to the voices like they do in western animation.
why would you downgrade the quality of your animation purposefully lol
Because you're replicating a specific style, and its limitations are a huge part of what makes it what it is? If you're trying to make a movie look like it was shot in the 70s, you're not going to shoot it in 3D with RED cameras, right? You'd shoot it on film, or at least add a bunch of image filters afterwards to make it look like it was shot on film.
are you jealous because their anime parody looks like they actually tried?
Criticising something doesn't mean I'm jealous. Mine Inel is much more skilled than me at many things. I just think he's made a lot of strange or bad choices in replicating a style. And besides, what I'm doing is a parody, meant to look bad. He does everything in his anime style, even his personal work, because he's a fuckin weeb and also a gross weirdo who draws child incest porn

I assumed they recorded before animating, because japanese voice acting is pretty spot on in anime and it doesn't look off at all. There are like few frames used for the mouth but it doesn't look off at all. Unless you're talking about a dub or something, then of course it's not spot on.

The animators just guess the timing.
Although I agree that he's not really replicating an "anime style". At most, he's just drawing characters in a cartoonish way (dude, it doesn't even look like anime, honestly). No generic anime style tropes are used in the animation. Plus, there's way too much in between frames, and anime doesn't use filters like that at all. If you showed me a screenshot of this, I'd say it looks more like cartoon than anything. Anime? Not even close. There's really nothing in the video that's reminiscent of "anime style". [editline]23rd February 2015[/editline]
Sometimes they correct the mouths slightly in editing, but it's always recorded after the animation. I just think he's made a lot of strange or bad choices in replicating a style.
Your "criticism" seems like nitpicking at best. Instead of tackling something on the visuals, you go for the little technical stuff like the lip sync shouldn't be as accurate? Come on. It's the animator's own perception of an anime style through visuals. Your weird lip syncing suggestion can be your icing in the cake, but it certainly doesn't need to be required.
He does everything in his anime style, even his personal work, because he's a fuckin weeb and also a gross weirdo who draws child incest porn
Your views of the animator obviously clouds your judgement to any of his work.
