I paused it a few times at the various documents like the rental notices, stupid rap, etc. Are these legit? If so, how much time and research did he put into this? (not that I'm complaining, it shows how much effort he puts into videos).

The parents are hated, not the family. But yes, it's a one of a kind movement to see so many people come together to give some jerkoff parents what they deserve.

I really don't get the point of it, I know it's to make a personality but it makes no sense to me. Same goes for FilthyFrank.

why is any character in anything not just the actor wearing their regular clothes speaking as they would normally I don't understand
Think they meant just the gravelly voice, hence the comparison to FilthyFrank. I don't get it either.
He has amazing edit skills.
filthyfrank does it because his entire shtick is crude humor, and the voice makes his character seem slimier. Nerdcity does it because he's trying to come across as someone who's seen some shit.
