Chora faces charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault with a weapon in connection with the Jan. 2, 2006, incident.
Likness told Crown prosecutor Britta Kristensen that she had driven Chora around for several hours before she got frustrated with him and decided to drop him off.
Likness said she pulled onto a side street at Chora's request, and after he got out and walked about five metres she heard what sounded like two shots.
She said she jumped from the still-running car and made her way to a nearby restaurant, where she was airlifted to a hospital by the Alberta Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society.[/quote]

Considering thats a fairly nonlethal (well, except for arteries of course) path for the bullet to travel, with or without the implants, hardly saved her life material. (Came into the thread expecting her to get shot at the heart or some such)

By the sound of it he shot her arms from the side, if she didn't have those implants the bullet may not have even struck her breasts at all.
