Apocalypse Now's opening, the only audio is The End by The Doors and a Helicopter. Beautifully Cinematic opening, coupled with the The Doors makes it one of my favorite openings of all times.

Not really, I mean in the beginning, Ryan (old man Ryan) was wearing a blue jacket with the "Airborne" logo on it and in the movie their looking for a Ryan in the Airborne.

Memento....when everything is in reverse in the beginning credits. I love how the polaroid picture slowly gets erased as he's flipping it back and forth.
The dark night. Straight into the movie, awesome way to present the joker, etc.

Zombieland's opening showing the rules he follows, then the awesome slow-mo opening credits.
I like the intro to most Bond films, especially OHMSS and Goldeneye.

Opening credits with the fucking greatest song ever in the background, as we slowly see THE UNTOUCHABLES on the screen.
I always shiver a bit it's so effective..
