Depends on how far your definition of pranking goes. There's a world of difference between deleting his characters and uninstalling the game, making the WoW-shortcut direct to a gay website. Just remember, whatever you do, tape it with a hidden camera in his room and upload it to the internet afterwards. If he's as addicted as some people I know, the results can be hilarious.

Delete all of his characters.

Go into the WoW folder and delete some essential file that the game needs to run, he'll be forced to re-install and he'll never know it was you. Repeat every day.

Remove his account or post his account info.

Sell his account on Ebay, don't be a dumbshit and delete it. You could get a lot of money for a few high level characters. Take a screenshot of the characters stats page, cover names, only showing levels. Don't mention login name in auction. Use money to buy spiders to place in his bed.
