Got banned so I didn't get a chance to post this when it was on TV. Following up on his 2007 documentary, The Most Hated Family in America, Louis Theroux returns to Topeka, Kansas, for a week-long visit with the Westboro Baptist Church. He again joins the Phelps family on their controversial pickets where they try to antagonise communities with offensive slogans and anti-gay placards. But four years on from Louis's last visit, there are signs of disarray in the Phelps clan. A series of defections of family members has shaken up the church.
They disgust me...
Tiny cute small people signs
Why havn't these fucks been killed yet?
Interviewing these people would be so awkward.
These people are insane.
If the "founding fathers" of the United States could see the future, then the US' constitution would be different. And better. Sadly due to the US constitution noone is able to do anything about them legally, such as lock them up in an asylum (or for the political correctness idiots, "Mental Hospitals"). Oh hell just enact Marshall Law wherever they go and slowly pick them off.
Guys, I don't think we have enough napalm... I'm getting scared.
Louis Theroux is a badass.
I never thought religion was a bad thing until i saw this
I think in both of these WBC documentaries he's a bit confrontational. It would make a more interesting documentary if he tried to be sympathetic to them, as alien as they may seem to us.
Why havn't these fucks been killed yet?
You would expect some crazed gunman or something to do it.
I never thought religion was a bad thing until i saw this
This isn't representative of all religion. Nor is it representative of all branches of Christianity, religion can coincide peacefully with humanistic ideologies. However, in some cases, such as the WBC religion is contorted into a cult and loses sight of it's true purpose.
hmmm bouncy at 52 minutes...
fuck they are the scum of our world
That blond bitch in the beggining got told in an interview with Anonymous. They hacked their website during the interview. [editline]16th April 2011[/editline] that kid is wearing a zoo york sweatshirt. zoo york was started by a black rapper :v: [editline]16th April 2011[/editline] their view on Catholicism : Westboro Baptist refers to Catholic priests as "vampires" and "Draculas" and talks of Catholic priests sucking semen out of male children's genitals like vampires suck blood from their victims. In addition, WBC calls Pope Benedict XVI such epithets as "The Godfather of Pedophiles" and "Pervert Pope". In April 2008 the WBC protested Pope Benedict XVI during a papal visit in New York City.
wbc isn't racist, at least I heard them say that before in an interview.
Their leader says they are not, but most of them are.
some of those westboro chicks are pretty hot
I must resist the urge to murder these people
It seems to me like they're just doing it to get assaulted so they can sue and get a huge payoff
I've never really bothered commenting in a WBC thread but I can't believe people like this actually exist. It's like some sick convincing joke. Also at 53:12, I feel bad for that guy's children. It's a shame people like this have to exist and plague the minds of their children with their ignorant and dense opinions. [editline]16th April 2011[/editline] Also if God does exist, this is probably his reaction to WBC:
Sadly enough, these people are protected under the 1st Amendment. Even though this is clearly hate speech, which I'm sure can warrant an arrest.
This is what makes me think that religions are pretty much brainwashing. I know this is the more extreme side of things, but even outside of that, people blindly believe things that have no evidence or basis purely because they're brought up to believe random facts that are the alleged absolute truth, generation after generation.
It's a shame a lot of the teenage girls in the church are really hot.

What if they thought that we shouldn't be saying some things that we do? Does that mean that we should have our rights taken away. These people are ignorant, and I disagree with everything they say, but they should be allowed to say what they want.
They need to leave America, fuck they need to leave the planet.

This is a violation of the First Amendment. They are exercising defamation and invoking riots. Let's arrest these fuckers and save their children from everlasting stupidity.
