not sure about all the funnies, but historically it's true that Muhammad was one of the best statesmen at the time. He wrote what is thought to be the very first constitution promoting equality, civil rights etc. and the speech before his death promoted these things also, which was unparalleled at the time.

I'm not muslim by all means, and I strongly disagree with many of his stances, but I must admit that he was a great statesman for the time. Anyone who studied arab history would be foolish to deny this.
