Interesting seeing as later on Blockbuster and Nintendo would team up for the Pokemon Snap Kiosk and System rentals for the virtual boy and Super Nintendo

Nintendo is very slow to evolve and very hesitant to try out new things. Ironically they're also the fastest to adapt old technology in new and interesting ways.
