Not if you read the comics it's not... starfire... was massively derailed recently.

That said, I watched a few episodes of Young Justice and it... was pretty alright. No DCAU by any stretch of the imagination, but enjoyable. Actually, they should just air reruns of DCAU shows on this block. That'd make it worth watching.

That's because the Teen Titans incarnations of the characters were NOTHING like the comic book counterparts, which, obviously, existed before the show. Though Starfire was a bit more palatable in the show, I guess.

I've read some (not a lot) of teen titans comics, even before the show came out, but when they literally say "no emotions" they mean "no emotions". She turned from a loving and caring woman with a lack of cultural modesty norms into a "I'm bored, let's fuck" slut.

The guns were made cartoony and there wasn't actually anyone getting shot. I recall a good amount of shows having the bad guys use guns against the protagonist, but they always missed.
