He is neither crazy nor does he take a single word he says seriously. Alex Jones is a professional troll; his job is to believe any and all conspiracy theories and concoct a way to connect whatever the hottest topics of the day are. _Obama_ is conspiring with _the Chinese_ to _turn shut-down Wal-Marts into Chinese invasion force gathering points_, and this is the #1 threat to America today. You can fill in the blanks with anything, no stretch is too insane. And if you don't have even a clue on how to connect the two, don't bother, just insist it's true and that any opposition are either the morons with the lowest IQ on the face of the planet or are defending the conspiracy, and shout over anyone who tries to say anything logical.
Sadly, a lot of his listeners think wrestling is 100% unscripted, too.
If you meet Alex Jones in real life when he's not performing for a microphone/camera, he's a normal, sane dad with kids and sane ideas about the world. He's only crazy because it's an act and it's how he makes his living.
