• Time travel will turn you into (a) god.

Let's say you could travel through time. That means that you could be anywhere at any time forever since the beginning of time. Thus you are omnipresent. Ohhh shiiii-
Sure, if you were immortal But I don't think time travel does that
But you still age, a major issue isn't it? ^ He said omnipresent, which defiantly isn't the same thing as being immortal
It doesn't matter if you are mortal because you have the capacity to be anywhere and anytime at any age throughout your life. Perhaps your life would mirror the universe's life.

Prove me wrong if I am. and it probably will make you a god if you could.

the hell was with the video
One way or another you'd eventually run into a paradox.

Omnipresence goes for spacial presence as well as time. If you were TRULY omnipresent there'd be a trillions and trillions and trillions of copies of you, and most would be dead as they'd be in places like... space.
your threads are always trippy as hell, Traxxasred
I really can not imagine that time travel is possible, simply because they can not really know exactly what is time

Don't they say god(s) exist before the beginning of time?

wait nvm. -snip- or delete this post if a mod sees it.
Also you are forgetting that time travel =/= normal travel. You could travel back in time, but you would still be in the same place.
If I could travel I would do cooler things than being a shitty god.
I'm sure you would be a god if you brought some shit back from this time/the future into the past and scared/amazed the shit out of people.
Everyone watch this video, right now. :smug:
Also you are forgetting that time travel =/= normal travel. You could travel back in time, but you would still be in the same place.
Same place relative to whattttttttt And why
Same place relative to whattttttttt And why
Ever watch Back to the Future? Same thing as that, travelling through time shouldn't effect you position on the other 3 axi.
Go back in time with a Pistol and Body Armor. They'll think you are a god because you can kill people by pointing and making a loud noise and you can't be stabbed.
Ever watch Back to the Future? Same thing as that, travelling through time shouldn't effect you position on the other 3 axi.
What are these axes then? Where's the origin?
Everyone watch this video, right now. :smug:
Quantum physics (as described in that video) is a pseudo-science. It's all based off of "what if?" rather than hard evidence.
You'd still be aging by your own biological clock
You aging is relative to gravity, you know Einsteins theory don't you? If you could be at any given time period at any moment ever than you would essentially never age since you could never possibly be in one place long enough to have gravity affect your own age.
There are a few things wrong with this idea. One, you would still age, so you would have a limited amount of timetravel that you would be able to cover in your lifetime. Secondly, you would still be completely mortal, and wouldn't necessarily have the power to change anything. And thirdly, there are all those unknowns like if you go forwards in time would you appear in space because the earth has moved? There's also the problem of conservation of mass/energy. You would have to exchange equal amounts of energy through time, so essentially you would have to 'grab' energy and matter equivalent to you from the past and switch places with it. Oh and lastly it's not possible for human beings, but thinking of things theorhetically is more fun.

But without gravity you would still age, and I'm pretty sure it would happen faster, not slower.

I'm no theoretical scientist but I do know that when you essentially exists in the parallel between the 3rd (being our reality) and 4th (being time) dimension than something like age would not happen in a normal fashion.
