Penn & Teller: Bullshit! - General

The show usually mocks myths and silly beliefs. Penn speaks throughout every episode while Teller is mute and entertains instead, usually with magic tricks. Bullshit! has reached it's 8th season on the channel Showtime. The series are also aired in other countries.

This show isn't aired in Ireland, and I think that is bullshit.

It's shown at horrible times like usually starting at 23:50 in the middle of the week in Norway

The one about games was great.

PETA was a good one. And that Sex one. And that Walmart one. And any involving religion. Most of them are good to be fair, Shame I have to stream them instead of watching it on Telly.

I liked the one about Junk Food. And the 2012 one.

NASA was awesome, definitely my favourite. Holier than thou was also pretty good, shitting all over Mother Teresa. And Nukes, Hybrids and Lesbians, loved that one.

Season 8 has been running for a while. Catching it now lol

This is one of my favourite shows, along with Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends. Perhaps I should start a thread on that...

The episode about violent video games really helped me a lot for this presentation I had to do. Cool show. I like how blunt they are.

This show is never boring, great shit.

How exactly would they have a show where they rip into something for being fucking stupid if they make points that undermine their points. They're meant to be biased. They're doing it for comedy, but there'd be no point in saying "Actually, Video Games can make you violent after all, the previous 19 minutes were pointless and we're wrong"

In the end they just had a celebrity claim that more people die from chairs a year than guns. Even though a chair is not designed to be a weapon, more based on accidents, and is in greater circulation. And the idea of saying that having a firefight in a bar is a better thing than what occurred was stupid. There is a reason why we have police officers and not vigilante law enforcement.

I have always loved this show, but to be honest, this season hasn't been as good as the previous ones. Their arguments aren't as focused anymore, they focus more on showing boobs and talking to crackpots than they used to. Note to Bullshit producers: I don't watch your show for boobs, if I want to see boobs I can go to the computer.

As someone who's circumcised, the circumcision episode was kind of dumb. They make it sound like it's a big deal even though it really isn't, then show a badly-done operation and pretend that's how it's done all the time.

I didn't even say anything about the rest of it, you're twisting my words. I stopped watching it a while ago anyway.
