I wonder if they'll work multiplayer into this one or just leave it to the modders again.
I want more car-chases.
Now we just need a mercs 2 style air bombing system. I welcome this news
Oh my god YES
I want a map that isn't just the same 3 copy-pasted towns and huts over and over. Yeah, Jc2's map was large but in compensation it was bare-bones and had little to do.
I hope we get cool air vehicles this time like in Just Cause 1. Just Cause 2 had very few aircraft and most of them were boring. Hell, JC1 overall had the best military vehicles even if some of them looked really ridiculous.

As well as better traffic patterns or civilian unrest, no a meter does not quantify this.
There's plenty of room for improvement from JC2 but the world didn't feel bare-bones to me
One benefit would be not to use fucking GFWL. I bought Just Cause 2 and couldn't even save because of some stupid configuration crap. Although GFWL is dead so I guess it won't be a problem.
There's plenty of room for improvement from JC2 but the world didn't feel bare-bones to me
Care to explain? The environment overall looked beautiful, but it felt like a barren wasteland.

Fuck yeah, these are awesome news!
I hope it's full of things worth exploring for.
I hope it doesn't end up another Nosgoth(I haven't played it, it very may be good in the end, but it doesn't change how disappointing it was to hear its a F2P team based arena shooter). Or even worse, Just Cause 3: Flappy Rico.
Also, if anything isn't destructible, I will be upset.
Gentoo support would remove money from my wallet.
GFWL? It ran on steamworks. :v:
There was some GFWL/microsoft thing that I had to use to save/load the game. I guess you're right: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Games_for_Windows_titles I don't quite remember it was like 4 years ago. The game never fucking worked for me was my point.
Didn't have GFWL for me, and I bought it a year or so ago when it was still alive.
Same here. I had gotten JC2 last year when it was $3 and it didn't use GFWL.

EDIT: Does anyone else have a physical copy of the game?
Just Cause with Geo Engine would be good in my book

what engine did JC2 have?
what engine did JC2 have?
Their own one.
what engine did JC2 have?
Their own engine (Avalanche 2.0) with Havok physics.
JC2 looked amazing for how smooth it was on my crappie computer.
JC2 looked amazing for how smooth it was on my crappie computer.
same here they optimized it incredibly well even my old piece of shit ran it smoothly
