Both these images were done using the Apophysis 2.08 3D hack. My method of madness, so to speak, involves finding a basic flame with a shape I like then using plugins and scripts to make something interesting. In most cases, I'll also use the random transformation feature and editor to manually edit the fractal. For these two images, I used the Taursus plugin, followed by the scripts Axial Fracture (3D compatible) and Checkerboard (3D compatible). I have a huge amount of scripts/user made plugins that I'm gathered up. If you're looking for a particular apophysis script/plugin, let me know. I'll see if I have it. I can also point you in the direction of various sites that have plugins/scripts. Anyways, on to the pictures.

This was the first fractal I did titled: Po210 84P 126N. The title is a reference to Polonium 210 which has 84 protons and 126 neutrons. This took roughly 2 hours to render.

This fractal is called 3^2 or three to the second power and was the second image I made. It's basically the same as the first, just with the view backed out. I was mainly interested in rendering the center, but I found both views interesting. This took about three hours to render.
Magic cube in the 2nd one
Just awesome
