The piece just needs better polishing and whatever you guys think I should do.
After advice from Bobie:

dammit, sorry for that random bit at the end, it stayed after the cut.
the synth at the start doesn't sound like it wants to go to the notes you're setting them at, they get a bit distorted and horrible at times. it sounds like it needs alot more refinement; as well as a lot of cutting down in the times of the song.
i had to listen to the same arp for 40 seconds before any actual musical variation was found; the idea you have past 1:10 is really quite nice and works well for the song, but the low quality bass ruins it. the flange at 1:32 doesn't necessarily fit in and the lack of power on the drums reflects the obviousness of the flange
2:32 is where it gets really interesting; i love what you tried to do with the song but the distortion is absolutely song-breaking. it sounds like you've panned your instruments so my only advice would be to either make all your synths smoother sounding, or EQ it down so you can rebuild the track up.
at this point of making music it's probably best not to make 7 minute long tracks and just concentrate on small sections, no offense intended by that it's just a much better way of practicing instead of the standard copy and pasted sections throughout a song you see everywhere in up and coming producers.
good luck with your song tho, you've got the basic ideas just need to apply them in a professional fashion!
This is dark techno not trance.

I always hope you comment on my stuff, your excellent. Only problem is I understand what you tell me, but I don't always know how to actually do it in the program.
The copy and paste will actually be edited a lot, but I usually do that so I have some wet paint on the canvas.

if you're using logic or FL i really have no idea; i've never used logic and from the year i used FL its kinda the anti-christ of professional music. it's a massive grind to get everything sounding right unless you get it right first time. mastering n stuff will just be second nature after a while thought, don't worry

Wait, you don't use FL? what do you use then, Propellerheads?

Would you recommend me to switch over? And if I do, how long before I get to marry that thing since I have dated Fruity Loops so long?

I switched from FL to Reason two years ago. I just recently bought Reason 5 and Record 1.5. I absolutely refuse to use anything else.

the ui is really similar, the only problems i had at first were how tiny and thin the "fullscreen" is (which still annoys me greatly) and the EQ always being too quiet for my liking; but once you get used to it there's alot of fun to be had i guess
Since we're waving our dicks around with Reason...

Reason thread V1: "oh god compressors everywhere which one is it i need to change"
it has a nice ring to it
Guess I'll give it a go, but even looking at those shots I have no idea where the piano roll is or the mixer.
What makes Reason better than FL? Workflow?
Ok how's it doing so far?
